September 1995 or there about this aircraft was converted from an Aeronca 7AC to a 7BCM in accordance withAeronca Service letter 13 and a C85-12F Continental engine was installed. The Service letter 13 called for Hanlon &Wilson muffler Kit 192. These mufflers are rare and hard to find. Cessna 150 mufflers are very similar and have beenused as a replacement for years on Aeroncas with no problems. These Cessna mufflers were installed at this earlierdate with no approval. I have inspected this muffler exhaust system and have determined it to be airworthy.
This installation included the following Cessna 150 engine exhaust system parts.2 EA Shroud assembly Part No. 0450335-31 EA Muffler (left) Part No. 0450400.,.,,)1,11 EA Muffler (Right) Part NO.045040fl,,-2§ .' '''',~J'2 EA Stub Stack Part No. 0450338-1'4'11~·tlmulr"·

Removed Aeronca cabin heat valve Pn 3-503 and installed Champion high output cabin heat valve Pn 4-972 inaccordance with Aeronca/Champion Service letter # 28. Weight change is negliuible for this cabin heat valvealteration.
The preceding installations were accomplished in accordance with AC43.13-1 B, Chapter 8, Section 3, Cessna 150Service Manual, and the Aeronca Service Manual. A new weight and balance has been recorded in the aircraftdocuments. A log book entry detailing this alteration has been entered in the permanent aircraft logbook.
