We wish to thank our family at North A for all their prayers, cards and
phone calls concerning my daughter's long battle with cancer, a battle we
all hoped and prayed that she would win, but it was not to be, Carolyn lost
the fight. But, thanks to the sacrifice Christ Jesus made for all of us, death
does not have the last word and because HE lives, we can face tomorrow.

We at North “A” are encouraging the practice of daily Bible reading. Our next congregational
reading project is to read the 66 chapters of the Book of Isaiah in a systematic, deliberate
way. This project begins Thursday, June 1, and will conclude on Thursday, August 31.
Suggestions:
1. Get a copy of the one month reading plan; we have hard copies at our church office or at the church foyer at all church assemblies. You also can download the plan as a Word document or as a PDF document on our church website: https://nachurch.org/read
2. Find a partner who will help remind you to read each day… perhaps someone in your household, another disciple, a coworker, a fellow student, or a neighbor?
3. You may also want to listen to the readings each day on the Bible Gateway web page https://www.biblegateway.com/audio (click the “speaker” icon to hear a recording of any passage that you select).
