Giufà is an italian world music/gipsy punk band formed in 2008.

Aggressive sax riffs, upbeat guitars, 4/4 persistent beats and balkans melodies are the ingredients

for an euphoric and energetic show, which entertains and unites people of all ages.

Every concert is an explosion of sound, colour and joy. It seams that the audience becomes part of

the show. Giufá's lyrics tackled the carefree, street life, nomads life and the social problems of the

contemporary era with a morbid sense of humor. Their lyrics, often embellished with spiritual

imagery, focus on personal themes and sociopolitical concerns.

Discography

2012 Giufà realases their first single “Brucia” a powerful mix of balkan and rumba.

Brucia' s music video hit the 30.000 youtube views in one month since the release date.

2013 The second single "Rumbagitana" comes out and is a preview of the first band album "Ritmo Gitano"(April 2013). in Ritmo Gitano the band improves the balkanrumba sound of their first single. the track 4(La Carovana Bulgara) of ritmo gitano is performed between Giufà and Modena City Ramblers.

2014 The band start recording an other single called “I Re della città” feat Munucipale Balcanica. The song is the perfect synthesis between the sound of Giufà and Munucipale Balcanica; a strong klezmer with a south italian mood and a rock guitar. The british label Gypsy Disco Records fits this song in the compilation “ Gypsy Disco Vol 1”

2015 the second album Trinakristan comes out and climbs the top 200 Italy iTunes chart

to the 28th

place. Trinakristan is a new musical recipe: a solid mix of Balkanbeats, Rock, Gypsy-punk and Tarantella.

2018 Giufà releases Propagangster. The frenetic rhythm, the irriverents lyrics and the south park' s style video are catching the attention of thousand of people and many media as radio and magazines acclaim.

Propagangster is a brand new starting point for the band. A mix of dubstep, Gypsy punk and Klezmer with old school punk attitud lyrics.

2008/2011: The band start playng in sicily, Giufà plays in some of the most importants

2012: is the Brucia Tour year, the first italian tour of the band.

2013/2014: Start the Ritmo Gitano Tour with more than 60 gigs in many venues and

festival like: Guca Sul Carso (TS), Circo Meraviglia, Alcatraz (MI), Nebrodi Fest (ME),

Balkan Beats London (UK), Stranger than Paradise (UK)

2015/2017 Trinakristan Tour is a confirmation for Giufà' s live activity, the band plays in
