Sky will generally be cloudy. Day and night temp may vary from 33 to 36 and 25 to 26 degree respectively. Wind may be normal and mostly south easterly with average speed of 2 km per hour. Due to rain, water has stagnated in many lowland fields where aman rice is growing. In this situation Bacterial Blight disease may occur in the field. On seedlings, infected leaves turn grayish green and roll up. As the disease progresses, the leaves turn yellow to straw-colored and wilt, leading whole seedlings to dry up and die. Manage the attack by 1. Draining out excess water from seedbed and spray fresh cow dung solution 1 kg per 10 liter of water. 2. Apply combine solution of Steptomycine Sulphate and Tetracycline 50gm with Copper Oxichloride 200gm per kani to manage the attack in main field. 3. Stop application of Urea in the field. 4.     Harvest the crop and keep under shade to protect from rain.

    Timely harvesting ensures good grain quality and high market

    value. Grain moisture content ideally is between 20 to 25 percent

    (wet basis). Grains should be firm but not brittle when squeezed

    between the teeth.

    Cattle All stages FMD

    Anthelmintic drug must be given to the livestock during this

    season. Vaccination also should be done against Foot & Mouth

    Disease (FMD).

    Poultry All stages

    In humid, cloudy and rainy weather, the chances of occurrence of

    Coccidiosis in poultry birds kept under deep litter system are

    more. To prevent infection litter should be regularly checked and

    replaced and lime in the existing litter can also be used.

    Anticoccidial drugs like Amprolium in consultation veterinary

    practitioner.

    Protect fish from over flowing from the pond due to heavy rain.

    Pigs All stages De-worming

    Monsoon weather could lead to gastrointestinal parasites

    infection. It is advised to maintain good sanitary conditions of pig

    sheds.
