better qualityWe have developed theAGTOShigh

performance turbines in order to be

able to offer reliable units that guaran-

tee high efficiency with low spare parts

costs. In comparison with usual tur-

bines, the work pieces are blasted on

New, cleaner filter technology

Exchanging filter cartridges is now clean,

quick and easy.

Easy and clean handling

Also here, our engineers have devel-

oped a unique concept in order to

facilitate the operating sequences.

AGTOScartridge filter units are easy

to maintain because the cartridges

can be exchanged quickly and easily

by means of a pullout carrier element.

The cartridges have a conical shape

and a coarse fold.

This promotes better adhesion and

cleaning of dust. And only the paper

or polyester cover requires disposal,

not the entire cartridge.

This saves money and helps protect

the environment.

quality. With available turbine wheeldiameters ranging from 330 mm (Tur-

bine 3.6) to 460 mm (Turbine 4.6) and

correspondingly higher rpm rates,

ejection velocities can be fine-tuned to

achieve the blasting goal.

The easy replaceable wear parts of the

turbine are available in different mate-

rials (p. ex. tool-steel and cast iron).

Therefore, the units can optimally be

adapted to each application.

Customers who operate anAGTOS

optimize the blasting units of other

manufacturers.

Hanger-type blast

machinesHanger-type blast machines are among

the most flexible types of blasting

equipment. They are also used to

continuously blast a wide variety of

work pieces.

AGTOShas already built many of these

machines in a variety of sizes and types.

For foundry applications, the machines

can be equipped with additional

solenoid air separators which reliably

separate sand and abrasive.

Hanger-type blast machines are engineered as stand-

alone solutions or designed for applications requiring

continuous operation.

Drum blast machines

AGTOSdrum-type blasting units are

ultra-modern machines based on a

proven principle. They offer users many

new technical details.

The drum is made of perforated man-

ganese steel. There are no transition

areas between moving and stationary

parts. This prevents the jamming of

work pieces.

Furthermore, the drum could easily and

completely be discharged. That avoids

a double treatment of each work piece.

Roller conveyor blast

machinesRoller conveyor blast machines are

used to remove scale and rust from

metal profiles and sheet metal compo-

nents. By combining a roller conveyor

with the appropriate crossover convey-

ors, individual process steps such as

blasting, conservation, sawing and

drilling can be interlinked. This ensures

a flexible manufacturing process and

high material output.

Another field of application for the

roller conveyor blast machine is the

blasting of large machine constructions

as preparation for the subsequent

conservation process.

Diabolo blast machines

Diabolo blast machines are used to

remove scale and rust from pipes, rods

and rounded objects. If desired, blow-

off equipment can be used to free pipes

of abrasive.

Special transport technology provides

for optimal integration of these

machines in the manufacturing process.

This increases flexibility and ensures

high material throughput.

Rubber- and steel belt

tumblast machinesThe tumble blast machines endless

rubber mill continuously turns the work

pieces and exposes them to the abra-

sive stream for the entire blasting time.

The use of a rubber mill ensures a

relatively gentle tumbling motion.

Because clearances in the mill are

kept small, it is also possible to blast

extremely tiny work pieces.

The machine can be filled and emptied

in automatic mode using a loader and

take-off conveyor. This is performed

manually or with the help of lifting

equipment in semi-automatic mode.

Direct unloading into a variety of

containers or onto a conveyor belt

is also possible.

Rotary table blastmachines

Rotary table blast machines are usually

loaded manually. They are most fre-

quently used to clean cast or die-cast

work pieces in batch mode and to

roughen the surfaces of work pieces

before coating.

In automated lines, primarily in the

automotive industries, satellite rotary

table blasting machines often include

integrated robotic handling devices.

An example would be the surface

hardening of transmission compo-

nents.
