That weekend weather was great for a drive to Enid to the corvette show and the drive and eat. The following weekend was not as nice for the drive to Columbia, as five corvettes braved the potential for rain and snow, which arrived Saturday morning. However, the weather did not dampen the fun or spirit of this charitable event. The weather for our trip to Tulsa was excellent. 15 vettes and 1 cruiser made the trip to see some very impressive “Old Iron”. After lunch at Ted’s we departed for Ugly John’s where we were treated to a guided tour of his outstanding collection. I can’t believe there were not a few trips down memory lane while looking at all the cars. I would like to thank Jim for setting this up, it was a very enjoyable day. Don’t forget the Lone Star Corvette Classic coming May 16-18, registration is due by May 1. Also, at the May meeting we will be discussing new club shirt colors so come and voice your opinion.
