companies and the largest producer of templates and stencils in the United States. Our journey began in 1946 when Richard Schreder, naval pilot and Distinguished Flying Cross recipient began making precision drafting instruments from acrylic, using state of the art technology that was developed during World War II.  

As an acclaimed aircraft designer and three time US National Soaring Champion, Richard intended the new company to work as a “mate” with his burgeoning aircraft business, hence the name Airmate Company.

  Today, guided by the leadership of second generation owner Carol Schreder, Airmate Company is still dedicated to producing the superior product and excellent service that made us so successful for the last seven decades.

  Since she became president, Carol has aggressively expanded the company’s product offerings and capabilities. Airmate provides services to a wide variety of industries, including the automotive, advertising, packaging, equipment manufacturing, arts and crafts, food and medical industries. We supply companies throughout the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, Asia and South America with superior products that keep them coming back again and again.

partnering with our customers to create OEM parts to specification for a variety of applications. Our in-house design and engineering departments work closely with customers to ensure parts are produced to spec. using materials with the best characteristics for a project’s end use.

FABRICATION:FABRICATION: Airmate Company specializes in

precision CNC milling of custom sheet plastic parts. We employ an elite team of machinists, with years of plastic machining knowledge. Working with engineering, we develop innovative processes to provide the highest quality plastic components, every time.

With 10 3-axis multi-head CNC mills in operation, and more than 100 available cutting heads, Airmate Company has the right equipment to get your job done, from foam, to .010″ thick styrene cutting, all the way up to 4” UHMW components.

Secondary operations include CNC cutting, drilling, tapping, and routing. We can satisfy your oversized part requirements as well…up to 120” in length

PRINTING:PRINTING:

SCREEN PRINTING: 9 – Precision Flatbed graphics screen print machines

with UV cure units.

PAD PRINTING: Single and multi color pad print machines.

HOT STAMPING: Multiple Hot stamping machines with maximum

imprint area of 6” X 8”.

HEAT TRANSFER APPLICATION: High volume full color heat transfer application on plastics and fabric with maximum

imprint area of 5” X 8”.

Airmate Company has been decorating plastics since 1946. Over the years we have expanded our decorating capabilities to include screen printing, hot stamping, pad printing, and heat transfer. Our experienced operators are adept at printing on a wide variety of substrates, including plastics, metals, woods, glass, fabric and more. Airmate is your product decorating solution.

We have an experienced staff, well trained in plastic machining.

One of the steps in our quality assurance testing. A drawing review process is in place whereby all prints

are reviewed for accurate dimensions, specified material, and tolerances prior to release to our production floor. Drawings created in-house are issued to our customers for approval prior to production.

Established quality inspections are performed routinely in line, with final quality approval prior to release. PPAP’s are available upon request.

Airmate continuously reviews our suppliers and chooses only those whose commitment to quality standards parallel our own. Material certifications are available upon request.
