Airmux-5000 External Antennas
Airmux-5000 operates with a built-in antenna (fix and nomadic subscriber units), an integrated antenna which is a part of the ODU (fix and nomadic base stations and subscriber units), or with an optional external antenna connected to the ODU via N-type connectors (any Airmux-5000 unit). External antennas increase throughput and boost operation range of the multiplexer radios. They vary in operating frequencies, form factor, size, gain, and polarization (see Table 1). This document details technical specifications of external antennas available for Airmux-5000.
