In 2019-2020, Alef Education Award was launched to celebrate excellence in implementing Alef Platform across government schools.

Vision:To acknowledge and reward Schools, Educators, and Students in the public sector for excelling at digital teaching and learning practices, demonstrating that student learning is positively impacted and that Alef Education’s vision of providing students the ability to learn anytime and anywhere is met.

Mission: Our efforts are focused on motivating and honoring professional and academic excellence in education through enhancing the digital teaching and learning processes.

Goals:

• Motivate teachers, leaders, students, and parents to excel and innovate to implement digital learning via the Alef Platform.

• Achieve a constructive and encouraging learning environment for students while implementing digital learning via the Alef Platform.

• Enhance digital citizenship skills and community cyber awareness through distance learning

• Encourage a digital learning growth mindset among teachers, students, administrators, and schools to support the UAE’s

towards the next 50’s vision.

Curriculum Completion (Exit Ticket must be completed)

• Alef Education platform calculates the student's achievement of the curriculum by calculating the student's completion of the specific lessons in all its parts, specifically the part of the "Exit Ticket."• The teacher can monitor students and follow up on the completion of all lessons, as the platform

features allow the student to complete the lessons missed, and the platform's features also enable the teacher to follow up on the student's performance and complete the lessons.• Remember! You can always follow up on your students' completion of their lessons that you have

assigned and complete the Exit Ticket through your account on the Alef platform.

Student performance (Average Score)

• Alef Education Platform calculates your students' average score on the Alef platform in the duration of Terms 2 and 3 of the current academic year.• Students' average score marks of the teacher's students indicate the effective teacher's role in

motivating students and following up on their performance and the teacher's continuous communication with students and reminding them of the importance of improving their level of performance.• Remember! The Alef Education Platform provides tracking students' grades through the teacher's

account on the Alef platform and the live data screens. You can also contact the guardian to remind him of the importance of following up on the student's performance through the Guardian App through the teacher's account on the Alef Education platform.

Platform usage by teacher and students (during school hours)

• Alef Education platform calculates the active implementation and use of students and teachers on the Alef platform during school hours.• Your role as a teacher is vital in ensuring the daily use of the Alef Education platform (in line with your

class schedule) and urging students to use it.• Remember! You can always track your student's active implementation during the class through your

account on the Alef platform and the live data screens, and you can also contact the guardian to remind him of the importance of following up the student's performance during school hours through the Guardian App.

Show My Learning Lessons completion average

• Allef Education platform provides the student with Show my Learning lessons at the end of each unit for all subjects to help the student review and evaluate his understanding of the lessons. Ensure that you complete the Show my Learning Lessons and receive an outstanding result upon completion.• The overall average for your students' achievement in Show my Learning lessons will be calculated

during terms 2 and 3. • Your role as a teacher is vital in ensuring that your students complete the Show my Learning Lessons• Remember! You can always track your students' successful completion of Show my Learning lessons

at any time through your account on the Alef platform, and urge guardians of the importance of these lessons through the Guardian App through the teacher's account on the Alef education platform.

• Alef Education offers “Alef Assignment” creation feature, whereby the teacher assigns a task to the student to solve and sends it back to the teacher through the platform.• Use this feature to assign tasks to your students.• Remember! counted unless the teacher evaluates it.
