Deacon Ministry
This Month at Heartland
SUNDAY NIGHT IMPACT CLASSES: Please join us and bring a friend! Impact Youth begins at 5:30pm and Impact Adult, Impact Boys, Impact Girls, and Impact Preschool begin at 6pm. Our desire is to equip people of all ages to make an IMPACT for Christ. Classes will resume on January 19.
BIBLE STUDY: Wednesdays at Noon with lunch at 11:30am. We will not have Bible Study on Wednesday, January 1.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: "Children of the Day" by Beth Moore. We will meet in the Youth Room on Wednesday evenings at 6pm beginning January 8. Books are $19 through Amazon (available elsewhere as well). Please see Kendra or Kelli for details!
VISION 2020 LUNCH: Sunday, January 12 at Noon.
CHURCH COUNCIL: Sunday, January 12 at 2pm.
WMU: Tuesday, January 14 at 9:30am.
FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER DEADLINE: The February newsletter deadline is Wednesday, January 15. Please email your newsletter announcements to [email protected].
MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY: Monday, January 20—OFFICE CLOSED.
DISCOVER HEARTLAND: Sunday, January 26 at Noon. This is a free lunch for anyone interested in learning about joining Heartland. Please RSVP by January 23 at hbcalton.com/events or sign up in the foyer.
DEACONS’ MEETING: Sunday, January 26 at 4:30pm.
QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETING: Wednesday, January 29 at 6:30pm.
PARENTS: We believe in family, and love that your family has decided to worship with us. Our nursery is available for babies and toddlers (up to age 3), but if you want to keep your children with you, you are welcome to do so. Kids, ages 4-10, will be dismissed for Children's Church before the message. Please walk your children back to the Kid’s area. We have wonderful leaders and workers that will take great care of your children.
