I am proud to be able to say that I was a member of a specialist drilling team, capable of drilling up to 1600 metres horizontally underground and inserting steel line pipe up to 48 inches in diameter. Working mainly in Europe with mostly Dutch and German colleagues, I successfully completed six large drilling projects as sole drillings fluid engineer and around 12 successful projects in total to date.

Responsible for operating and maintaining numerous systems for drilling fluid production which includes various simultaneous duties such as filtration, mixing, recycling systems and responsible for accurately maintaining the drilling fluids with the relevant addictives while running a small onsite laboratory by testing and recording results.

I enjoy constantly improving my skills and abilities in both employment and my own personal time. My main interests are associated with science and engineering. In 2009 I was accepted to attend a degree course in Materials Science and Engineering at Swansea University. I also like to indulge in most sports/activities where I have achieved various medals and certificates these include rugby, swimming, judo, street-hockey, mountain-biking, bmx and motor sports. I also consider myself a keen amateur mechanic where I regularly undertake small to medium sized projects for example my most recent project, restoration of a Yamaha personal water-craft and customisation of a road legal off-road buggy.
