We focus on four primary verticals—entrepreneurship, self-publishing, personal finance and health—posting daily to www.JamesAltucher.com , publishing several monthly newsletters and promoting James’ work across platforms on social media. And we’re growing rapidly. James currently reaches an audience of more than 300,000 followers on Facebook and 150,000 on Twitter, as well as more than 100,000 monthly newsletter subscribers. We’re looking for an intern who is well versed in current trends on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ to help us expand our reach and manage this growth. You’ll be responsible for maximizing the value of our content on social platforms to boost website traffic, target existing audiences, build new ones, and generate opt-ins and sales. Responsibilities:

Identify the most effective social media channels for content related to our various offerings

Actively participate in the Choose Yourself online community and act as community moderator

Brainstorm with editorial and marketing to create social media campaigns that both drive opt-ins and expand our community

Create content specifically for our social media channels Monitor current social campaigns and suggest revisions/improvements

when necessary Keep abreast of new social media trends and bring fresh ideas to the team Create content for our other platforms (web, newsletter, etc) as needed

This is a paid internship opportunity at $12 per hour for 10-15 hours per week, on-site at our office in downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood.

The ideal candidate for this internship has: Fluency with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social platforms A deep understanding of the latest social media trends and techniques Excellent writing skills Experience using social media in a professional setting to accomplish

business goals A basic understanding of digital media metrics Comfort working in a public-facing community management role An interest in and basic understanding of direct-response marketing A talent for crafting effective social posts and online copy that drive

engagement
