General informationReading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this aluminium extendable trolley (hereafter referred to as the trolley), and contains important information on handling and care.Before using the trolley, read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or damage to the trolley. Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual when passing the trolley on to third parties.
Explanation of symbolsThe following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the trolley or on the packaging.

SafetyProper useThe trolley is exclusively designed for transporting goods with a maximum load of 330.69 lbs (150 kg). It is only intended for private use and not suitable for commercial purposes.Only use the trolley as described in this user manual. Any other use is considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages or injury incurred through improper or incorrect use.
Safety instructions
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled persons, older persons with reduced physical and mental capacities), or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older children).
− If they are supervised or have been instructed on how to safely use the trolley and have understood the risks associated with operating it, this trolley may be used by children ages eight and over as well as persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking experience and knowledge. Children may not play with the trolley. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by unsupervised children.
− Keep children under the age of eight away from the trolley.
− Do not leave the trolley unattended while in use. − Make sure that children do not play with the plastic
wrapping. They may get caught in it when playing and suffocate.

WARNING!
Risk of injury! If you do not use the trolley properly, there is an increased risk of injury.
− Carefully check the trolley to see if it is functioning properly before each use. Do not use the trolley if it is damaged.
− Make sure the handle is fully extended and the security clamp is securely locked in place before using the trolley.
− Never transport a load weighing more than 330.69 lbs (150 kg) on the trolley.
− Only use the trolley on smooth, solid and level surfaces, not on staircases or slopes. The trolley may become uncontrollable and dangerous when used on staircases or on slopes.
− Do not use the trolley for transporting passengers. − Do not stand on the trolley. − Do not pull the trolley by motorized vehicles. − Do not put your feet in front of the rolling wheels. − Do not use the trolley with unstable, unbalanced or
loosely stacked loads. Always load the trolley with the centre of gravity of the load as close to the middle of the trolley as possible. If necessary, use belts to secure the load.
− Make sure that the load is not wider than the trolley, especially when moving through narrow passageways.
− Maintain adequate visibility when moving the trolley. Do not stack loads beyond a safe height or in a manner that obstructs vision.
− Avoid heavy loads that require excessive force to move, do not twist your body when moving the trolley, and be alert to terrain hazards (e.g., cracks and uneven surfaces) that can cause the trolley to shift or stop abruptly.

− Pay attention to the path of travel and do not go too fast when moving the trolley.
− Keep watching the condition of the load when moving the trolley. Stop immediately when the load is unstable.
− Do not leave the trolley unattended, especially when loaded, unless the swivel castors are locked by the locking levers.
− Do not use the trolley in the rain. The trolley is not resistant to water and moisture.
− Do not modify or alter the trolley in any ways which may affect its capacity, stability and safety.
First useChecking the trolley and package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a sharp knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage the trolley.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening the packaging.
1. Take the trolley out of the packaging.2. Check to make sure that all components and accessories have been
received (see fig. A).3. Check whether it or any of the individual parts are damaged. If this is
the case, do not use the trolley. Contact the manufacturer via the service address indicated on the warranty card.
Basic cleaning• Remove the packaging material and all plastic wrappings.• Clean all parts of the trolley before first use as described in the chapter
“Cleaning and maintenance”.

AssemblyInstall the castors before using the trolley (see fig. B).
1. Place the trolley upside down.2. Place the fixed castors 6 at the front end and the swivel castors 4 at the
rear end of the trolley. Line up the holes on the castors with those on the trolley.
3. Insert the screws 7 through the holes from below and then attach the nuts 8 to the screws.
4. Tighten all screws with the wrench 9 .

CAUTION!
Risk of crushing!You could crush your fingers when setting up the trolley.
− Be very careful when you are opening or closing the trolley.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!If you do not use the trolley properly, you could damage it.
− Pull the handle far enough so that it locks into the end position before use. If not locked, the handle may retract when the trolley is pushed forward.
Opening the trolleyTo open the trolley:
1. Pull the rear guard 2 and handle 1 assembly upward until it locks (see step 1 in fig. C).
2. Press the rear guard downward and pull the handle upward until it latches (see step 2 in fig. C).
The trolley is now ready for use.

Using the trolley − Hold the handle with both hands and then push the trolley forward. − Press the locking levers 5 on the two swivel castors to lock the trolley (see
fig. D).
Extending the load platform
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!Only use the trolley with the load platform fully closed or extended.
− Always secure the load platform with the security clamp to prevent unintended opening or closing.
1. Disengage the security clamp 10 by lifting it up and turning it approximately 90° (see step 1 in fig. E). It should rest on the horizontal brace of the trolley.
2. Pull the front and rear load platform sections apart until the horizontal braces meet (see step 2 in fig. E).
3. Re-engage the security clamp by turning it another 90° so that it overlaps the two horizontal braces (see step 3 in fig. E).
To close the extended load platform, disengage the security clamp, then push the front and rear load platform sections together and finally re-engage the security clamp.
Closing the trolleyTo close the trolley:
1. Press the rear guard 2 and handle 1 downward (see step 1 in fig. F).2. Press the rear guard downward again and push the rear guard and handle
assembly forward until it closes (see step 2 in fig. F).The trolley is now closed (see step 3 in fig. F).

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!Improper handling of the trolley may result in damage.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the surfaces.
1. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the trolley. 2. Then let all parts dry completely.
Check all connection points on the trolley regularly. Do not use the trolley if you find any damages.
Storage
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!Storing the trolley in a damp area will allow rust to form. This may permanently and irreparably damage the functionality or load bearing capacity of the trolley.
− Protect the trolley from moisture, direct sunlight and frost.
All parts must be completely dry before being stored. − Always store the trolley in a dry area. − Protect the trolley from direct sunlight! − Store the trolley so that it is not accessible to children.

− Nunca transporte una carga superior a 330.69 lbs (150 kg) con la carretilla.
− Emplee la carretilla solo sobre superficies suaves, sólidas y niveladas, no sobre escaleras o pendientes. La carretilla puede descontrolarse y ser peligrosa cuando se usa en escaleras o pendientes.
− No utilice la carretilla para transportar personas. − No se ponga de pie sobre la carretilla. − No tire de la carretilla con vehículos. − No ponga los pies delante de las ruedas. − No utilice la carretilla para cargas inestables, con más peso
por un lado o apiladas sin estar aseguradas. Cargue la carretilla siempre con el centro de gravedad de la carga lo más centrada posible sobre la carretilla. En caso necesario, proteja la carga con correas.
− Cerciórese de que la carga no sea más ancha que la carretilla, sobre todo durante el transporte por pasos estrechos.
− Al conducir la carretilla, tenga siempre una buena visión. No apile la carga por encima de una altura segura o de forma que le impida la visión.

− Evite las cargas pesadas que solo se puedan mover con un esfuerzo excesivo. No tuerza el cuerpo al mover la carretilla, y tenga en cuenta los peligros del entorno (p. ej. grietas y superficies no planas) por donde se mueva la carretilla o donde se pueda quedar detenida de forma brusca.
− Preste atención al camino que tiene por delante, y no avance demasiado rápido cuando mueva la carretilla.
− Al conducir la carretilla, observe siempre el estado de la carga. Deténgase de inmediato si la carga pierde estabilidad.
− Siempre que las ruedas giratorias no estén bloqueadas por las palancas de detención, no deje desatendida la carretilla, sobre todo si está cargada.
− No utilice la carretilla cuando llueve. La carretilla no es resistente al agua y la humedad.
− No modifique o cambie la carretilla de forma que la capacidad, la estabilidad y la seguridad se puedan ver afectadas.
Primer usoComprobación de la carretilla y del contenido del paquete
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!Si no tiene cuidado al abrir el embalaje con un cuchillo afilado u otro objeto puntiagudo, podría dañar rápidamente la carretilla.
− Al abrir el embalaje, proceda con sumo cuidado.
1. Saque la carretilla de su embalaje.2. Asegúrese de haber recibido todos los componentes y accesorios (véase la
fig. A).

3. Compruebe si esta o alguna de las piezas tienen daños. Si así fuera, no utilice la carretilla. Contacte con el fabricante a través de la dirección de servicio técnico especificada en la tarjeta de garantía.
Limpieza básica• Retire el material de embalaje y todos los envoltorios de plástico.• Antes de la primera utilización, limpie todas las piezas de la carretilla como
se describe en el capítulo “Limpieza y mantenimiento”.
MontajeMonte las ruedas antes de emplear la carretilla (véase la fig. B).
1. Dele la vuelta a la carretilla.2. Coloque las ruedas fijas 6 en el extremo anterior y las ruedas giratorias 4
en el extremo posterior de la carretilla. Alinee los orificios de las ruedas con los de la carretilla.
3. Inserte los tornillos 7 a través de los orificios por abajo y luego una las tuercas 8 a los tornillos.
4. Apriete todos los tornillos con la llave 9 .

¡ATENCIÓN!
¡Riesgo de aplastamiento!Al montar la carretilla, puede pillarse los dedos.
− Tenga cuidado al abrir o cerrar la carretilla.
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!Si usa la carretilla de forma inadecuada, la misma puede sufrir daños.
− Antes de su utilización, saque el agarre hasta que encaje en la posición final. Si no encaja el agarre, puede hundirse al avanzar con la carretilla.

Apertura de la carretillaAsí se abre la carretilla:
1. Suba la unidad de rejilla protectora trasera 2 y agarre 1 hasta que se bloquee (véase el paso 1 en la fig. C).
2. Baje la rejilla protectora trasera y suba el agarre hasta que encaje (véase el paso 2 en la fig. C).
La carretilla ya está lista para usar.
Uso de la carretilla − Sujete el agarre con ambas manos y mueva la carretilla adelante. − Presione las palancas de detención 5 de las dos ruedas giratorias para
bloquear la carretilla (véase la fig. D).
Apertura de la plataforma de carga
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!Utilice la carretilla solo con la plataforma de carga totalmente retraída o extendida.
− Asegure siempre la plataforma de carga con el fijador de seguridad para evitar que se abra o cierre de forma involuntaria.
1. Afloje el fijador de seguridad 10 levantándolo y girándolo unos 90° (véase el paso 1 en la fig. E). Debería estar sobre el travesaño horizontal de la carretilla.
2. Separe las secciones delantera y trasera de la plataforma de carga hasta que se toquen los travesaños horizontales (véase el paso 2 en la fig. E).
3. Inserte de nuevo el fijador de seguridad girándolo otros 90° de forma que sobresalga de los dos travesaños horizontales (véase el paso 3 en la fig. E).

Cuando quiera retraer la plataforma de carga extendida, afloje el fijador de seguridad. Junte entonces las secciones delantera y trasera de la plataforma de carga y vuelva a insertar finalmente el fijador de seguridad.
Plegado de la carretillaAsí se pliega la carretilla:
1. Presione la rejilla protectora trasera 2 y el agarre 1 hacia abajo (véase el paso 1 en la fig. F).
2. Presione la rejilla protectora trasera de nuevo hacia abajo y empuje la unidad de rejilla protectora trasera y agarre hacia delante hasta que se cierre (véase el paso 2 en la fig. F).
La carretilla ya está plegada (véase el paso 3 en la fig. F).
Limpieza y mantenimiento
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!La manipulación inadecuada de la carretilla puede provocar daños.
− No utilice limpiadores agresivos, cepillos con cerdas metálicas o de nylon, ni utensilios de limpieza afilados o metálicos como cuchillos, espátulas duras y objetos similares, pues podrían provocar daños en las superficies.
1. Utilice un paño húmedo para limpiar la carretilla. 2. Deje que todas las piezas se sequen por completo.
Revise periódicamente los puntos de unión de la carretilla. No utilice la carretilla si detecta daños.

¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!Si guarda la carretilla en condiciones de humedad, se puede oxidar. El funcionamiento o la capacidad de carga de la carretilla se pueden ver entonces afectados de forma permanente.
− Proteja la carretilla de la humedad, la luz solar directa y las heladas.
Todas las piezas deben estar totalmente secas antes de su almacenamiento. − Guarde siempre la carretilla en un lugar seco. − ¡Proteja la carretilla de la radiación solar directa! − Guarde la carretilla de forma que quede fuera del alcance de los niños.
