HOW WE METWe both attended Lipson Community College, being just a year apart we knew each other but not well. After our schooling days we went our separate ways but met again a number of years later at a mutual friends party and were soon inseparable. Nearly 10 years later we still share the same sense of humour, rarely a day passes in which we are not laughing!

THE PROPOSALWe had our beautiful daughter Elyssa in 2009. Matt proposed on the beach watching the sun go down sipping Champagne during our daughters first holiday abroad in May 2011. Charlie our cheeky chap was born in 2012 and we married in May 2013 - A busy few years I’m sure you would agree!

OUR SPECIAL DAYOur wedding was a true Plymouth affair, we used small, local businesses to compliment our unique venue - Smeatons Tower Lighthouse, initially nobody believed this was truly where we were going to marry!
It was a beautiful day, from the top of the tower we could see for miles. The service was very intimate but extremely windy, many female guests had to hold tight to their skirts!
Our photographer Melanie Barnfield was fabulous and friendly from our very first meeting. Her talent really shines through in every image that she took.
THE MEMORABLE NIGHTOur wedding breakfast and reception was held at the Treasury in Plymouth. The food was amazing and we felt really looked after by all of the staff, we couldn’t of asked for any more! There were a few dance offs from people who shall remain nameless which I’m sure will be talked about for years to come!
FIRST DANCEWe danced to the beautiful lyrics of Dolly Parton’s ‘from here to the moon and back’
HONEYMOONWe went on a mini moon to Bath where we enjoyed a champagne lifestyle for a few short days, then in August we shared our Spanish honeymoon with our children.
