We are having such a busy time here that we have brought out version 2 of thedirectory. The directory is the catalogue that I encourage you to keep as this has agood selection of our stock items that we have throughout the year regardless ofthe seasons.

I normally write the letter for the directory in January, but today as I write this thesun is streaming into the office a very different picture to the snowy outlook then!

I have added some new styles and I am sure you will not be disappointed by thequality and design:

Adore - pages 3 and 4 the Sunflower and the Trellis styles, these are both prettyand practical styles that flatter and support the figure

Elila - the ‘Jacquard’ bra code number 1305 on page 21 is now available in an ‘M’cup

Elila - the ‘Lace Strapless Longline’ bra is now available in an ‘H’ cup

Elomi - a relative new brand to AmpleBosom.com and one that is proving to beso popular that I have extended the range of styles to include the ‘SmoothingPlunge Bra’ code number 1221 and the ‘Smoothing Strapless Bra’ code number1230 ideal for under close fitting clothing, see page 26. Also a new sports bra‘Energise Sports Bra’ code EL8040 see page 27 and whilst the title suggests thatyou should be wearing this to complete some strenuous form of exercise, if youare looking for a good comfortable, supporting bra do not be put off by thenotion that you should be doing something more energetic than just walkinground the shops!

For the hot weather a comfortable high cotton content is a request I hear and theRoyce ‘Grace Support Bra’ code 513 on page 51 has an 84% cotton content thatfits the bill, as does the Anita ‘Jana Support Bra’ code 5427 on page 8 that has an80% cotton content.

To check your bra size, you need to taketwo measurements.

1. Underbust measurement

Measure under your bust, adding 4” if the

measurement obtained is an even number

of inches, and 5” if the measurement

obtained is an odd number of inches. (For

example, if your underbust measurement

is 31”, add 5 to obtain bra size 36, or, if

your underbust measurement is 30“ add 4

to obtain bra size 34.)

2. Overbust measurement

Next measure round the fullest part of

your bust to determine cup size. If the

bust measurement is the same as your bra

size, your cup size is A. 1” more gives cup

size B, 2” more gives cup size C, 3”more

gives cup size D, 4” more gives cup size

DD, and so on through E,F,FF and G.

Try these and if you still have problems,please do not hesitate to get in touch withus for advice.

If bra rides up at back. . . adjust hook andeye closure to tighten, loosen straps or trya smaller band size (e.g. 34 instead of 36).

If band digs in. . . order one band sizelarger (e.g. 36 instead of 34) or opt for abra with a wider band.

If straps dig in. . . opt for smaller back sizeor loosen shoulder straps.

If straps slip. . . tighten straps or opt forbra with wider straps.

If shoulders are sore. . . loosen bra or opt

A GUIDE TO FITTING

for one with wider, or padded straps.

If sides bulge. . . order one band sizelarger (e.g. 36 rather than 34) or choose astyle that provides more cup coverage.

If cups wrinkle at tip. . . opt for a largercup size.

If cups wrinkle at tip and sides. . . opt forsmaller cup size.

If cups overflow. . . order one cup sizelarger (C to D) or one band size larger(e.g. 34 to 36).

If bustline sags. . . shorten straps, avoidstretchy fabrics or choose a firmer supportstyle with rigid straps.

If wires pinch or poke out (i.e. do not lieflat to chest). . . opt for one cup size larger(e.g. B to C) or try a non wired cup style.


An example

Underbust measurement 29” + 5” = brasize 34

Overbust measurement 34” = cup A

So the correct fitting would be 34A.
