THE AMURI COMMUNITY COMMITTEE will be holding an informal get-together on Sunday 16th May at the Red Post Cafe Culverden, in honour of Constable Phil Woods for the 10 years of service he has given to our community. Advertisements for insertion can be e-mailed to the above address (with a billing address provided) or left at the Amuri Community Library. Closing day and time for both is 4pm on Monday. When there is a Public Holiday on a Monday the deadline will be extended to
4pm the next day (Tuesday). Regular advertising by arrangement.
Emailed classified ads (not businesses/community groups/clubs) will need to be paid IN ADVANCE directly into our bank account by close of bank business on a MONDAY (Tuesday when there is a Public Holiday) for the ad to appear that Friday (20c per word - minimum $2). If there is no payment received the ad WILL NOT appear that week, ie NO PAYMENT, NO AD.
Payment in advance does not apply to regular advertisers eg businesses/community groups/clubs who are invoiced. Advertising Costs: Classified and Community Ads: 20c per word (minimum of $2)
Businesses: Full Page $50, ½ Page $35, ¼ Page $25, ⅛ Page $20, 1/16 Page $15. If you require an ad to be designed this will incur a $10 fee (businesses only). All GST inclusive.

Applicants must hold a minimum full class 1 driver’s license and be prepared to progress through to full class 5 license along with other industry related licenses relevant to the industry.
Amuri Transport have a diverse fleet of vehicles that will allow the right person to pursue a career in their preferred division such as Bulk, Livestock, Freight or Fertiliser Spreading.

The after-hours phone is connected to and answered by an afterhours registered nurse, who will assess your needs, offer advice, or arrange immediate assistance from the on-call doctor or rural nurse. (The triage nurse may take a few minutes to answer.) ..
Flu & Shingles Vaccines At this stage we will only be vaccinating the over 65’s and we are able to book patients in this age group now. Please phone through to the Health Centre to book your appointment. We will advertise the other groups for vaccination once we have the vaccines available. If you have a question or any concerns, please phone through to the Health Centre to discuss with the practice nurse. Updates will be advertised on the Health Centre’s Facebook page and website.
Health Centre Closure
Please note that on Thursday 29th April we have a team meeting between 3pm and 5pm and so there will be no available appointments. The phone will be answered on our behalf by HML (our afterhours answering service), they will contact us if the call is urgent. Otherwise, appointments will be available as normal from the following day.

Rotherham Community Pool would like to say Thank you
Without the community support we received the Rotherham Community pool wouldn’t be the fun place it is for all to enjoy a swim, play, exercise or just relax. 2020/2021 We set high goals & with your support, physically, financially & mentally we did it. It was great to see so many volunteers rise to the challenge & transform the pool into a bright fun place. Opening Day Duck Dip was a great fun community day that we hope to enjoy every year. It was great to see so many smiling faces enjoying the newly painted pool on the hot days we got this season. The revamped changing rooms sure make a difference for the children & now the heating is in we hope to enjoy more days in a nice warm pool. The Rotherham Community Pool Committee would like to acknowledge the following supporters.
