An-10® Wireless Lighting Control

The An-10 is a unique wireless system designed to control lighting.

The An-10 can operate alone or be part of a new or existing lighting

system. The An-10 creates unique benefits as the connection

between sensor and receiver is wireless. This eliminates the need

for expensive or complicated wiring. The An-10 creates tremendous

flexibility, as the system can be increased or decreased without

limit. This offers excellent benefits in hospitals, office and other

commercial premises where the division of space can be easily

changed and also, for example, sports halls and workplaces

in open-plan offices that can be simply adapted according to

new requirements. Other examples of areas where the wireless

technology offers major benefits are cultural buildings, churches

and other similar buildings where both aesthetic requirements and

technical complications often make it impossible to lay cables to

control lighting.

The system is fully flexible and uses two-way communication.

Each system component both receives and transmits information,

which means that in principle the range is infinite. The two-way

communication requires an “acknowledgement” to each command,

thus guaranteeing that operation is just as secure as with cables.

The An-10® offers smart new solutions to a number of typical

dilemmas:

Example 1: Stairwells: the lighting should be switched on in line

with the direction of typical traffic. The An-10® makes this possible

and simple. Without any unsightly/expensive installation of cables,

lighting can be switched on from the entrance to the stairwell

and lift. In a stairwell the lighting is automatically switched on at

whichever level you are on, and if required also on the levels above

and/or below.

Example 2: Offices, classrooms, meeting rooms: the lighting in

communal areas must remain on (possibly at a low level) as long as

presence is detected in the rooms. The An-10® makes this possible

and simple. The system can easily be coded so that, for example,

the exit route is lit up without any unsightly/expensive cables. The

system can be extended with 400 nodes.

Example 3: Warehouses often change. Racks and stored items are

often moved around. With the An-10®, you can separate sensor

control from the fixtures, and sensors can be positioned along the

typical route of traffic without any expensive cables.

An-10® Wireless switch moduleAn-10 switch module. This module is used to connect switches to the An-10 system. The modules transmits signals to any An-10 sensor or relay in the system. The module has inputs for up to 7 push buttons. AT-BB-IN-IQ
