OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The management of Wisconsin Warehouse Association (WWA) believes that the policies and work rules set forth in this manual have taken into account the interests of both employer and employee. This manual is intended to be an aid in the quest for smooth and efficient operations. Though we believe this manual is thorough, we cannot guarantee completeness. As such, WWA reserves the right to change any and all policies and/or work rules at any time. This handbook is not to be construed to form an employment contract; rather it is a description of the company’s general philosophy concerning policies and procedures.
An efficient warehouse operation ensures: complete and timely deliveries to Customers / Consignee’s; sufficient inventory levels to meet requests; proper accounting and controls of property and equipment; and proper disposal of all surplus or obsolete property and removal from system records.
