h INTRODUCTION h {Audio/Video Part 1– Tim e: 17:42}

A. Why It Is So Important to Study the Tabernacle of Moses

1. So much of the Old Testament in used in the New Testament — Some say that about one-third of New Testament issimply repeating the Old Testament! — With this in consideration, revelation of the Old Testament is necessary in orderto properly understand the New Testament

2. So many chapters in the Bible are dedicated to the Tabernacle of Moses

3. Hebrews has been underrated as a New Testament revelation, yet it is in this book that the Tabernacle can be seen soclearly!

4. Probably every major doctrine of the New Testament can be taught from this Old Testament graphic, the Tabernacle ofMoses

5. The Eternal Purpose is a progressive experience — it has its beginning in Gen 1&2 and its fulfillment in Rev 21& 22; TheTabernacle clearly reveals, through the Outer Court experiences, this progression back into God’ Purpose

B. Why The Tabernacle Is Not a Prevalent Teaching in the Body of Christ

1. The Tabernacle is viewed by most Christians as mere history instead of being studied in view of God’s Eternal Purpose

2. There are many mysteries in God’s Word that have been unveiled in stages down through the history of the Church —In this age, the revelation of the Tabernacle and the Consecration Offering are of utmost importance for the Church

3. Unfortunately modern Evangelism has focused on salvation as a single crisis experience to meet man’s need — Onceman’s needs are met, man stops going on with the Lord

4. Because the Church has been reluctant to teach the full cost (such as Luke 14:26-35) they have avoided may of the OldTestament types which reveal this cost

5. When we focus on God’s Eternal Purpose “before the foundation of the world”, salvation can be seen as an on-goingexperience for the purpose of transforming man to meet the need in God’s heart

6. When the People of God begin to see that the Church must go on to perfection in order to fulfill the Purpose of God, wewill see a great revival among God’s people — A revival where Christians focus on doing the whole will of God andbringing joy to His heart

I. ETERNAL PURPOSE IN GOD’S HEART {Audio/Video Part 2– Time: 10:20}

A. Where It Must Begin: “Before the Foundation of the World” (#1)

1. Call of God

a. Eph 1:3-12, 3:8-11 — Eternal Purpose with a “view to an administration (Kingdom of God) suitable to the fulness of times” (# 2 )

b. 2 Tim 1:9 — Everyone saved is also called with a Holy Calling

c. Rom 8:28-30 — Called, justified and glorified

d. Heb 6:17—19 — Unchangeableness of His Purpose — God will not deviate from His Purpose and Plan

e. Summary: When we start with the fall of man, then the focus of salvation is on man’s need, i.e., an escape from hell. But when we beginwith “before the foundation of the world” the focus of salvation is in meeting the need of God’s heart by bring man back into the EternalPurpose of God

Page 6: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -6-

2. Man is created and set directly into God’s Eternal Purpose (#2)

a. Gen 1:26-28 — Man was given dominion over all creation

b. God did not give man dominion over himself — God would rule over man — to remain in God’s purpose, man must yield to God’s will

c. When man stepped from under God’s authority through disobedience, he lost this God-given dominion over creation as well

B. Eternal Cross — A Principle of the Kingdom of God {Audio/Video Part 3– Time: 27:34}(#5) (#2)

1. In Eternity, God set this Eternal Cross in Heaven — A principle upon which all the Kingdom of God operates

a. Everyone in Heaven must do the whole will of God

b. Jesus took up this Eternal Cross at Calvary — Phi 2:6-11

2. Two Trees in the Garden (#3 & #4)

a. It was necessary to give man a choice to see if he would take up this Eternal Cross, therefore Two Trees were named in the Garden

b. Gen 2:9,16-17 — Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge

c. Man’s Disobedience — Gen 3:6, 22-24 — Man chose disobedience and was put out of the Garden and God’s Eternal Purpose —(# 6 )

Alienated from the Life of God!

C. Eternal Cross: Work of the Cross — What God Does For Us(#7)

1. There was nothing man could do torestore himself — God had to provideeverything — God sent Jesus —John 1:1-18

2. Justification — God declares man(#7)

to be righteous: He imputes Hisrighteousness unto man until man cantruly become experientially righteous —The Bible refers to this initial experienceas man being Justified or . . .

“Just–as–if–I’d–” never sinned!

3. Through the Cross of Calvary, man canexperience Regeneration meaning a “New Genesis” or “New Beginning”

4. John 3:3,5 — Born Again, Born of Water, and Born of the Spirit — Three necessary experiences in order to “enterinto the Kingdom of God” — Acts 2:38; 1 Pet 1:23

5. Heb 6:1-3 — Each experience is foundational to “go on unto perfection”

6. In the Work of the Cross, man’s problem is solved, but not God’s! There is another whole process to bring us backup into God’s Purpose — Man must do the whole Will Of God (#8)

Page 7: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -7-

D. Eternal Cross: Way of the Cross — What God Does In Us(#9)

1. Once back in God’s Purpose, the EternalCross is waiting for us once again — TheEternal Cross becomes the Cross we mustchoose to carry!

a. Pick up our cross — Phil 2:5-8; Mat 10:38; Mat16:25; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23; Luke 14:27

b. In the Way of the Cross it is essential that we do Hiswill — 1 John 2:18; Mat 7:21-24

2. Tree of Life & Tree of Knowledge — Again! (2nd

Position fo r #3 & #4)

a. The choice of trees is still there for us!

b. We find that the Tree of Life is part of God’s EternalPurpose — Rev 22:2

c. There is a problem of still trying to do God’s willthough “knowledge”

(1) Jesus said, “the flesh profiteth nothing . . . theWords I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life” — John 6:63

(2) God has ordained that we can only do His will through the impartation of His Life that He puts in us

(3) In the Garden, man’s spirit died, but man is born-again by the Living and Abiding Word of God — 1 Pet

1:23 — The Life that God has put within us is Christ

3. Sanctification — God’s Work In Us (#9)

a. In the Way of the Cross, God works to change us from what we are to what we must be in order to fulfill the will of God

(1) Col 1:28 — To present every man perfect in Christ according to His power!

(2) Phi 2:13 — It is God who is at work In Us both to do and to will of His good pleasure

b. Mat 5,6,7 — Demands of the Kingdom made to a spiritual man — here we see that God is concerned about every practical aspect of theChristian Life

c. Sanctification meaning separated unto God and His Purpose for us

(1) First we must choose to set ourselves apart unto God

(2) Then God begins to set us apart for His Eternal Purpose which requires obedience!

d. Man fell by disobedience therefore entrance back into the Eternal Purpose of God can only be by obedience — Jesus is the “Authorof eternal salvation unto all those that obey Him” — Heb 5:9

(1) Thief on cross had no opportunity for obedience, but he was saved from hell by believing — “Saved from—”

(2) God wants us to be “Saved unto —” the Kingdom of God — This requires obedience that God might work in us

(3) Salvation is free — But obedience is required to enter into God’s Eternal Purpose — In Obedience, God’s Throne is set up withinour heart!

e. Rev 19:7-8 — Bride is clothed in “righteousness of saints”, referring to a specific Experiential Righteousness — Because of this

requirement God must transform us!

E. Glorification : What God Does Through Us in Eternity(#10)

1. God will rule through man in Eternity Future—Heb 2:6-9 (Psalm 8)

a. Gen 1 & 2 reveals the First Adam and the First Eve — God gavethem dominion to rule over all creation — a picture of God’sEternal Purpose

b. Jesus, Second Adam & the Bride, New Jerusalem, the SecondEve — Eternal Purpose of God fulfilled

(1) God has the perfect “Man” to rule — Jesus!

(2) Now God is at work through His Spirit, looking forperfect “Bride” for this “Man”

c. As the “Second Eve”, we do not know how to rule with Christ, therefore God must work in us by His Holy Spirit

(1) This is the Call to God’s Eternal Kingdom and Glory —We have been chosen for sanctification by the HolySpirit in order to obtain glory — 2 Thes 2:13-14

(2) It is the Holy Spirit who must change us from “glory to glory” — 2 Cor 3:18

2. God’s Call unto His Glory!

a. Jesus prayed, “so that they may see My glory which You have given Me” (John 17:24)

b. God will bring “many sons to glory” — Heb. 2:10 — This is not just some sort of theory “By Faith”, but rather a process that he takes usfrom by working deeply within us by His Spirit from “glory to glory”

c. God changes us from what we are to what we must be in order to be part of His Eternal Kingdom!

II. JOURNEY FROM EGYPT TO MOUNT SINAI {Audio/Video Part 4– Time: 27:29}

A. Introduction to This Journey

1. I Cor 10:1-11; Rom 15: 4; Psalms 78; 105; 106

2. Each experience becomes a foundation for next experience — All experiences are in relation to Canaan, a Typeof God’s Eternal Kingdom

B. Out of Egypt unto Mount Sinai

1. Deliverance out of Egypt

a. Israelites enslaved in Egypt

(1) They had sovereign right over Egypt, but did not know it

(2) They had “Slave Mentality” — while life was comfortable, they were content to be slaves for Pharoah without any interest in God’spurpose for them

(3) They were content to be slaves until Pharoah began afflicting them, they cried and God sent a deliverer, Moses, who had been inpreparation for 40 years

b. Many plagues came upon Egypt, but none of them released the Israelites except for the Blood of the Passover Lamb — Christ is our Passover— 1 Cor 5:7

c. Even though saved from death, needed to leave Egypt in order to enter into God’s purpose of taking them to Canaan — They had to followthe Cloud which led them right on to the Red Sea with Mountains on both sides!

Page 10: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -10-

2. Crossing the Red Sea

a. 1 Cor 10:2 — Red Sea signifies Water Baptism

b. At the Red Sea they could have stopped and said by faith: “The Kingdom is ours!” — Jesus said “. . . for your Father has chosen gladly togive you the kingdom . . .” — but then He goes on to say, “Sell your possessions and give to charity . . .” (Luke 12:32-33); we still mustexperientially enter in the Kingdom!

c. “Baptized into Moses” — while in Egypt, still under Pharoah’s authority, but upon crossing Red Sea they were now under Moses

d. At Water Baptism the authority of our lives also changes and we comeunder Jesus as our Lord or “Kirios”, meaning “that much higher than thehighest” — buried and resurrected unto a new authority— JESUS!

3. Eating Manna — Exo 16; John 6:31-38 — Jesus who camedown and took on flesh and blood is a type of the Bread fromHeaven

4. Water out of the Rock — Exo 17:1-7; 1 Cor 10:4 — Jesus isthe Rock out of which comes Living Water — John 7:37-39

5. Battle with Amalek — Exo 17:9-16 — Victory through prayer

C. Mount Sinai and 50th Day Fulfillment and Purpose

1. Mount Sinai is a type of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit where many different experiences take place in our lives alsosuch as:

a. Ten Commandments

b. God came down with fire

c. Heard God’s Voice like a trumpet

d. God instituted a Covenant

e. Tabernacle of Moses was established

2. God's Purpose: Bring Israel out of Egypt was to form a Kingdom of Priests — Exo 19:5-6

a. At sound of trumpet must come up Mountain unto God; cannot appoint someone to go up for you

b. God originally said, “Hear My voice” — but the people went further backward away from God (Jer 7:21-26)

c. For every step they went backward, God had to give more laws and ordinances — Those who walk with God in the Spirit do not need laws

(1) When the people would not go up the Mountain at God’s first call, then the 10 Commandments on stone for their stony hearts

(2) Then when the people stepped back further, God gave them sacrifices and offerings — Better than sacrifice is doing God’s will —“a body You have prepared for Me . . . to do Your will, O God” (Heb 10:5-7)

(3) Then “Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them” (Exo 25:8) — They wouldn’t come up to God’spresence, so He decided to camp in their presence through the Tabernacle of Moses

D. Israel’s Seven Feasts: Remembrance of Each Experience {Audio/Video Part 5– Time: 38:58}

Each of these seven Feasts were for the purpose of remembering a specific experience of their journey from Egypt toCanaan — But they could not keep the feasts in the Wilderness for all the Feasts were related to the harvest

1. The Feasts were divided into three times of appearing before God throughout the year:

a. 1 Appearance before God — First Fruits of Harvest — first months t

(1) Passover

(2) Unleavened Bread

(3) First Fruits

b. 2 Appearance before God — 50 days after first Feastnd

(1) Pentecost — Harvest Feast, also called Feast of Ingathering

c. 3 Appearance before God — Main Harvest & Gleanings — Seventh Monthrd

(1) Blowing of Trumpets

(2) Day of Atonement

(3) Feast of Tabernacles

2. Jesus’ Fulfillment of the Feasts

a. Jesus has already perfectly fulfilled all the first four Feasts in their exact appointed time — Certainly the remainder of the Feasts will befulfilled

b. Crucified as our Passover during the Feast of Unleavened Bread

c. Christ Rose from the dead on First fruits

d. Fifty days after His resurrection, Jesus received the Promise of the Father and poured out the Holy Spirit when “the Day of Pentecost wasfully come” (Acts 2:1-4 KJV)

3. At Pentecost, the Israelites remembered their coming to Mount Sinai where in the Old Covenant, God wrote theLaw on Stone Tables

a. In the New Covenant God provides us with His Law within us — Jer 31:31-34

b. Holy Spirit writes God’s Laws upon our heart and mind — Only the Holy Spirit can interpret these Laws for us once they are written there

c. When the Laws are written inside our heart there is no need any longer for outward Laws to be written down for us!

d. There is no need for an objective set of rules when there is a subjective Kingdom within us!

4. If the first four Feasts were exactly fulfilled at their appointed times, we must believe that the last three Feasts in theSeventh Month will also be fulfilled in their appointed times!

a. Seeing the three aspects of the harvest in the Seventh Month can assist us in properly interpreting the events in the End Times

b. Revelation chapters 6 through 11 and chapters 13 through 19 show the same End-Time events during the Great Tribulation from twodifferent points of view

E. After One Year at Mount Sinai — Time to Move!

1. The Lord our God spoke to us atHoreb, saying, 'You have stayedlong enough at this mountain (Deu1:6)

2. It was only an eleven day marchfrom Mount Sinai unto KadeshBarnea at the border of Canaan(Deu 1:2, 21-46) to celebrate theFeasts in the Promised Land at theappointed time of Harvest — Theyshould have gone right into Canaanto keep the Feast of Pentecost atappointed time, but they failed to goin at the appointed time

a. Before leaving Mount Sinai they weresupposed to keep the Passover in that firstmonth, but because they were unclean, they had to keep the Passover in the second month and they lost 30 days!

b. The Israelites lost more days because the “rabble” began to murmur and complain and fire from God broke out among them

c. Aaron and Miriam rose up against Moses and they lost another seven days

d. They finally camped just outside of Canaan on the 46 day — they had four days until Pentecost, but instead of going right on in, theyth

decided to send in spies for 40 days and the appointed time of Pentecost came and went and they missed the whole Kingdom Aspect ofPentecost — God was angry with them and punished them for their 40 Days of spying out Canaan with 40 Years of wandering in Wilderness— Num 14:29-30

F. Application to the Church today

1. 1 Cor 5:7-8— “For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with oldleaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth”

2. At the Red Sea, we are baptized in water, experiencing salvation and separation from Egypt and the authority ofPharoah

3. We must experience salvation by the eating of the Manna of God’s Word

4. We must experience salvation by the drinking the Water from the Rock

5. We must experience the salvation and victory through prayer

6. At Mount Sinai — as a type of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, there were 21 different experiences that the Israelitesexperienced — The Church also needs to come into the fulness of all these experiences as well!

7. The Big Question: Where is the Church at today? Are we still wandering around in the Wilderness? It is clearlytime to enter in to Canaan, the Kingdom of God!

Page 13: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

G. Hebrews — “Water Crossers”

1. Abraham, the Hebrew, after he crossed the Euphrates river

2. Israelites called Hebrews — they crossed the Red Sea

3. Israelites that crossed the Red Sea had all died in the Wilderness, and Canaan is only for “Hebrews” — thereforeinstead of going straight into Canaan, God led them around to the Jordan River so that must cross the water againin order to be “Water Crossers”

4. As Abraham’s offspring, we must be“Water Crossers” also and not get stuck along the way in our journey

(“Hebrew” means “Water Crosser”) — Crossing the water is not an option is we want to Hebrews!

H. “There Remains a Sabbath Rest for the People of God” – Heb 4:9

1. Because of disobedience and unbelief, the Israelites had to wander around in the wilderness for 40 years — “Andto whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?” — Heb 3:18; Psa95:11 — Heb 4:5-11 tells us that Joshua was unable to truly bring them into God’s rest

2. But Psalm 95 tells us that there still remains a “Rest” for the People of God while it is called “Today” — This

“Rest” can only be kept in Canaan which is a type of the Kingdom of God

3. “So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God” — A “rest” of ceasing from our own will and works in orderto do God’s perfect will

4. The Kingdom of God is a work within us— “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they

say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21 — KJV)

5. We must labor diligently to enter that rest: “through many tribulations we must enter the Kingdom of God” (Acts14:22)

6. When the Kingdom of God and His Throne are set up within us . . .

a. Rev 1:4; 4:5; 5:6 — Seven Spirits of God are before His Throne: This speaks about a fullness of the Holy Spirit in our lives!

b. Rev 22:1-2 — River of Life flows from the Throne of God, and the Tree of Life is on both sides of that River: This speaks about a fullnessof His Life in our lives!

I. Canaan speaks of the Kingdom of God: Doing His Will

1. Must preach the Gospel of the Kingdom — Salvation from out of Egypt into Canaan — doing the whole Will of God

2. The Church has experienced the first three experiences, yet it hesitates to go on into the Promised Land, just as didIsrael — The Church cannot come to Canaan, the Kingdom of God, until it begins doing the whole will of God —“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of MyFather who is in heaven will enter” (Mat 7:21)

3. Until the whole Church comes to Jordan —laying down the “Psuche” life in order to receive the “Zoe” life of God—it can never fulfil the will and purpose of God — Only by this “Zoe” Life that we can do the will of God!

4. Unless the Church comes to a place of Consecration to do the full will of God, then it will continually be wanderingaround in the Wilderness, never able to enter Canaan — God’s Kingdom

III. THE TABERNACLE OF MOSES: A PROGRESSIVE EXPERIENCE {Audio/Video Part 6– Time: 29:14}

A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose

1. God’s purpose is to bring us from what we were to what we ought to be in order to inherit the Promises of God

2. Heb 6:1-3 — Laying Foundations, “Let us go on unto perfection (KJV)” — Keep in mind: each experience inTabernacle becomes foundation for next

3. Biblical Importance of Tabernacle — Compared to many other doctrines, the Tabernacle has many more chaptersand references in the Word of God dedicated to it

B. Jesus Is Our High Priest

1. First seven chapters of Hebrews lays a foundation to the type of the Tabernacle — Heb 8:1-2, 4-5

2. Jesus is the fulfillment of this Type and He has many “sons” He wants to bring into this same glory — Heb 2:10 —Our concern in this study is with the High Priest and His “Sons”

3. Old Covenant was after the “Order of Aaron”, but the New Covenant is after the “Order of Melchizedek” andtherefore all the “sons of the priest” must also become priests after the “Order of Melchizedek”

a. Exo 19:5-6 — God’s original desire for a Kingdom of Priests

b. “Kingdom of Priests” fulfilled today in us (In the Old Testament, God’s purpose was not a separated priesthood)— Rev 1:6; 5:10; 20:6; Rom15:16; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Isa 66:6,21

c. Levites were of Aaron’s family, but were not called priests — Their ministry only pertained to the Outer Court, they could not enter the HolyPlace

Page 15: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -15-

4. Old Testament Priesthood could not perfect anyone; But Christ as our High Priest is able to save “to the uttermost(KJV)” — Heb 7:11-25

5. The Law, gifts, sacrifices and offerings could not make man perfect; but Christ is able to cleanse and perfect forever— Heb 9:9,13-15; 10:1-2

C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven

1. Moses was warned that all must be made exactly according to pattern — the earthly Tabernacle and all the sacrificesare a perfect picture of “Heavenly Tabernacle” and ministry of Christ — Heb 9:1-5, 8-12, 23-24

2. Christ did not come to enter the earthly Tabernacle, but into the Heavenly Tabernacle not made with human hands

a. Every Priest must offer sacrifices — Jesus also must offer sacrifices

b. When we offer our bodies in doing God’s will, we provide Christ with the sacrifices He will offer in the Heavenly Tabernacle

D. Three Veils — Jesus is the “Way, Truth, and Life” – John 14:6

1. Jesus the Way — 1 Veil or “Door”st

a. This first curtain or “door” was closed, saying “Keep out!”

b. This “Door” would easily open when certain requirements are met

2. Jesus the Truth — 2 Veil was entrance into the Holy Placend

3. Jesus the Life — 3 Veil was entrance into the Most Holy Placerd

E. To Enter Inside the Tabernacle, the “Place Where God Dwells”

1. God’s dwelling place in the midst of His People

a. If a common Israelite asked his neighbor: “What is that thing in the middle of the Camp of Israel around which all of the tents of Israel are

camped?” His neighbor would have told him: “That is the place where God lives for He dwells among His people in the Tabernacle!”

(1) God’s original purpose was to bring all the people up to Mount Sinai so that could dwell in His presence and be a Kingdom of Priests(Exo 19:5-6) But those people refused to come up the mountain, therefore God designed a substitution for obeying His Voice!

(2) Jer 7:21-24 — God didn’t want to give them laws and sacrifices, but rather to obey His Voice, but the people went backward andnot forward

(3) Since the people would not come up to God’s presence God decided to have them build Him a sanctuary so He could dwell in theirpresence — “Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them” (Exo 25:8)

(4) If it was God’s desire in the Old Covenant to dwell among His people, how much more in the New Covenant!

(5) In the New Covenant He comes to dwell among us — John 1:12-17 — By receiving Christ, He comes inside gives us power to beHis sons

(6) John 14:16-20 — Then we need to receive the Holy Spirit who also comes to dwell within us

(7) John 14:23 — When we love Him and keep His Words, then the Father and the Son will come to make their abode within us —Incredible!

Page 16: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -16-

2. Drawing near to the “Place where God dwells”

a. Now when this Israelite inquires more on how to draw closer to where this Cloud of Glory was, there were specific steps and requirementsthat this man must meet:

(1) In order to go through the Door of Outer Court, he must be a circumcised, covenant-person

(2) Because of sin, he is under the sentence of death, therefore he must also bring a spotless lamb with him as a substitutionary sacrificefor his sin — the little lamb would die in his place for — “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” — Heb 9:22

(3) Every Israelite, upon receiving forgiveness through this sacrifice, would return to his tent and remain there until he sinned again, andthen he would come back to the Tabernacle and begin the process all over again

b. Now once within the Outer Court, this Israelite might ask, “What is that tent or building [referring the tent of the Holy and Most Holy Place]?”He would be told, “That is the place where God dwells” — “But I thought you said that God dwelled out here?” — “Yes, that’s true, butmore specifically God dwells there within that place” — “Well, I want to go there, I feel that I must be where God is!” — “That is not possibleunless you die and are resurrected into the family of the High Priest, for only those of his family can enter in there”

c. Supposing that the Israelite man could die and be resurrected into the family of the High Priest, he would have to go through all theprocedures to become a priest and then he could enter in the Holy Place — Once in the Holy Place, the Israelite would probably ask, “Whatis that other room back there behind that Veil [referring to the Most Holy Place]?” — “Oh, that is where God dwells!” — “But I thought yousaid that God dwells in here?” — “Yes that is true, but even more specifically, God dwells there in the Most Holy Place and it is betweenthe two Cherubim upon the Ark of the Covenant that God said He would be speaking!”

d. In the next section we will study about this “Ascending Call” of God and the specific steps necessary to become a priest!

Page 17: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

IV. OUTER COURT: ASCENDING CALL OF GOD {Audio/Video Part 7– Time: 39:56}

A. Our “Ascending Call” into His Presence — Phi 3:14

“I press on toward the goal for the prize of the Upward Call of God in Christ Jesus” (Phi 3:14) — “Upward Call” or“Ascending Call” — Everything in Outer Court speaks about the preparation and separation needed to come unto thefullness of God’s Presence in order to fulfill His Eternal Purpose

B. Specific Steps to Enter the Priesthood

1. Only descendants of Aaron, the High Priest could become priests

2. Circumcision which speaks about Repentance from dead works

a. Phil 3:3 — no confidence in natural ability — Rom 2:28-29 circumcision of the heart

b. Repentance is not merely turning around, but also walking back the whole distance you walked away from God — Walk toward God andkeep on walking! — It is therefore cannot be a complete repentance until we have returned unto God’s Eternal Purpose

3. Experience at the Bronze Altar of Sacrifice

a. Once entering the Outer Court Door, there is no way to miss the Altar

b. Substitutionary death for sin — Christ is the only satisfactory sacrifice — Rom. 5:8-10

c. There is a difference between the “Shed Blood” and the “Sprinkled Blood”

(1) “Sprinkled Blood” is for the initial forgiveness of sins which we receive when we are born again

(2) “Sprinkled Blood” — another kind of cleansing within our life as a believer

Page 18: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -18-

4. Experience at the Laver — Water Baptism

a. Removal of old garments — Garments speak of our manner of life

b. Col 3:5-9 — Putting off the old things of our life

c. Baptism in Water is a death, burial, and resurrection — Death means a “Bringing a Conclusion to the Old Life” — Rom 6:1-11

d. Put on New Garments — Many parts to the New Garments that priests had to put on — Speaks about putting on Christ and all of His manyAttributes — Col 3:10-14

5. Experience of the Anointing — Baptism of the Holy Spirit

a. They were “baptized” or immersed with anointing oil — Psa 133:2

b. The anointing qualified them for the priesthood — Exo 40:12-15

c. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit — Acts 10:38; Luke 4:18-21

6. Experience of the Consecration Offering

a. Jesus fulfilled the Consecration Offering in the wilderness

(1) He was led into the wilderness “full of the Spirit” (Luke 4:1)

(2) He came out of the wilderness in the “power of the Spirit” (Luke 4:14)

b. This is the Consecration Offering that we need to make with our whole life!

C. History of the Progressive Church

The progression of the Church down through history has a fulfillment of these preparatory steps: Each one has been likeanother “wave” of revival (It is interesting to note that each progressive group was persecuted by the group that camebefore them)

1. Circumcision — before 1500's — Repentance from dead works

2. Altar of Sacrifice — 1517 Martin Luther: Justified by grace through faith

3. Laver

a. Other groups begin to preach that, although true God does forgive our sins freely, He wants to transform us so that we do not continue tosin

b. The “Anabaptists” (meaning, “baptized a second time”) preached the need to be Baptized in water after a sincere repentance and beingjustified by faith

c. Others began to “put on” the garments — restoration of the authenticity of Scriptures; great hymn writing, etc.

d. These people began to see that there had to be more that God had for them

4. Anointing Oil

a. In the 1880's — Charles Finney began to preach “Entire Sanctification” as work that cannot be done in man’s own natural ability, it mustbe accomplished by the indwelling Holy Spirit and the experience of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit — 2 Thes 2:13

b. In 1903-5 — Outpouring of the Spirit in Wales, and in Kansas City, and in Azuza Street, Los Angeles — the Pentecostal Experience beganto rise

c. 1945 and on — larger movements of the Pentecostal experience: Evangelism, Healing, Gifts of the Spirit, etc.

d. 1965 — The “Charismatic” movement began to move upon all the denominations where teaching, and order and stability of leadershipbegan to be restored — At Mount Sinai, Pentecost, there were 21 different events that occurred — Likewise, the Baptism in the Holy Spiritis not one simple experience (like speaking in Tongues), there is yet a fullness that the Church needs to enter into!

Page 19: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -19-

5. Now it is time for the “Consecration Offering”

Although many “moves” of God are in effect during these times, they are only a part of this final “Move of God”in the consecration offering

D. Consecration Offering — Total Commitment to Do His Will {Audio/Video Part 8– Time: 40:57}

1. Purpose of the Consecration Offering — The Lampstand Church

a. The Lampstand was not found in the Outer Court, but in the Holy Place

b. Until Consecration Offering is made, this Lampstand Church cannot exist

(1) Lampstand is made of pure and refined gold, hammered out of one piece

(2) It is through the Consecration Offering that we provide God with the gold ore necessary for this Lampstand

(3) The gold ore must be refined again and again in the Refiner’s Fire!

2. Four Sacrifices of the Consecration Offering — Heb 10:5-7

a. “Sacrifice, Offering, Whole Burnt Offering, Sacrifice for Sin” — These Four Sacrifices are replaced with the one offering of doing the willof God — Jesus said, “A body hast Thou given Me to do Thy will”

b. Every High Priest offers up sacrifices — Our bodies are the sacrifice that Christ offers

(1) Rom 12:1-2 — “Therefore . . .” refers to all that was said in previous chapters of Romans (Justification by Faith— Chap 2-5; WaterBaptism—Chap 6; Baptism in the Holy Spirit—Chap 8, etc.) — Whole Purpose of these previous experiences!

(2) We must surrender up our bodies as a sacrifice for the Lord in order to prove what is that “which is good and acceptable and perfect”

(3) In order to know God’s Will, we must first give our body to God as a sacrifice then God will reveal it to us!

(4) Rom 14:7-9 — “For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, wedie for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might beLord both of the dead and of the living.”

3. Procedure of the Consecration Offering (Remember that this is a “whole burnt offering” — nothing is left over forthe priest!)

a. The bull was brought before the door of the Holy Place — Priests laid their hands upon the bull to identify themselves with this sacrifice, and then with a sharp knife the bull is slain and the head is removed and placed upon the altar to be thoroughly burned û All of our ownideas, plans, arguments and disputes, etc.

b. The Hide or “Skin” is removed û All distinctions are removed — Col 3:10-11

(1) “Greek or Jew” û racial distinctions

(2) “Circumcised or Uncircumcised” û religious distinctions

(3) “Barbarian or Scythina” û cultural distinctions

(4) “Bond or Free” û financial or social distinctions

c. Front legs removed û All of our doing and abilities

d. Rear legs removed û Our walk, both the “where” and the “how”

e. Entrails removed and washed û Light manifests the darkness, inner cleansing takes place in the thoughts and intents of the heart

(1) Jesus washes the Church with water — Eph 5:26-27

(2) The inner parts, the heart, is deceitfully wicked — it is from within that the deepest problems arise in man — Mark 7:18-23; Jer 17:9;Prov 4:23

Page 20: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -20-

f. Fat is immediately burned “. . . all fat is the Lord’s” (Lev 3:16)

û All our leisure time must be given to God, and He’ll provide for our “rest” in His way and time — Whenwe place all our leisure times on God’s altar to be burned up, we can rest assured that “. . . He giveth Hisbeloved sleep” (Psa 127:2 KJV)

g. Fully burned upon altar, turned to ashes, all opaqueness is gone û Fully transparent before the Lord — This is why New Jerusalem is fullytransparent!

4. The whole purpose of the Consecration Offering is to bring the Priests to the First Veil of the Holy Place = Jesus, the Truth

a. This “Truth” is active, not static or passive — an experiential truth, the Reality of the Christian life

b. Isaiah 6 — Isaiah had all the prophesying accurately for first five chapters, but when he came to place of reality, “open-facedness” (2 Cor3:18): “Woe is me!”

c. All the knowledge of doctrine can only produce hypocrisy (Pharisees) unless there a revelation of reality

d. Everything past this Veil, within the Holy Place, is made of pure gold û no hypocrisy

e. When we come to this Veil or “Truth”, God begins to reveal Jesus the Truth to us and we begin to see who we really are: “Woe is me! forI am undone!”

f. Going through this Veil is not an easy matter, most turn back — Man is born with the nature of thinking more highly of himself than he oughtto, and when he finally comes to the Veil of the Holy Place and begins to see the “Truth” or “Reality” in this Veil, it is a great threat to thisdistorted self-image that has deceived him and out of fear he will often simply turn back, thinking it is too difficult to go on!

E. Outworking of Consecration Offering — Making it Experiential!

1. Jesus is the Way and He is everything in the way: the Door, the Altar, the Lamb of Sacrifice, the One who removesour old garments, He is the New Garments we put on, He is the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost and Fire (Mat 3:11),

and Jesus is the only One who can make our Consecration experiential!

2. Example of Consecration in the Life of Christ

a. “Our Side” of this work of this Consecration Offering — where we make the logical decision to surrender ourselves fully to God —

û Christ, of course, having no sin, did not need to come to the altar, but He came to the Laver and wasbaptized in water, and then He received the anointing — Immediately after receiving this anointing, the HolySpirit led Him into the wilderness where Christ made His “Consecration Offering”, saying: “A body Thou hastgiven Me . . . to do Thy will, O God” (Heb 10:5-7 KJV)

b. “God’s Side” of this work of this Consecration Offering — God begins to make this Consecration experiential

û 3½ years after Christ’s Consecration Offering, God began to require it of Him fully, and it was with this inmind that Jesus prayed fervently in the Garden of Gethsemane: “Father . . . not My will, but Thine be done” —Then at Calvary God’s purpose was fully fulfilled in through the Life that Christ laid down for us!

3. Everyone knows John 3:16, what God did for us — Now God calls us to experience 1 John 3:16, what God requiresof us in Consecration! — This is what will eventually bring us to the Inner Veil before the Most Holy Place, the Veilthat speaks of “Life” — A “Life” laid down — the same Veil that was rent from top to bottom when Christ died onthe Cross!

Page 21: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -21-

F. Bringing Whole Church to Consecration Offering Experience

1. The move into this stage of the Consecration Offering will most likely follow the same pattern of the previous stageof reformation in the Church through the years came by way of announcement

a. Initially, as with each progressive experience the Church passes through, only a small few individuals will step into it . . . until eventually thewhole Body joins in

b. Previous revelation must be built upon and not thrown out — As in each past progressive movement of the Church, so with the ConsecrationOffering, it is important to remember that each progressive group built upon the previous revelation

2. When we see what is inside the Holy Place, we realize that the Church could never come into this place withoutConsecration first — Consecration alone can provide the “Gold” necessary to build the Lampstand which will thengive illumination for the Table of Shewbread and the Altar of Incense

3. Individually we must decide what part we will take . . .

a. . . . Either . . . we rest content that we are saved and will go to Heaven one day and at least take “our place” by the Thief on the Cross!

b. . . . Or . . . we can decide to make a full Consecration Offering, whatever the cost, in order to reach what Jesus promised us: “He whoovercomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne” (Rev 3:21)

V. HOLY PLACE: LIFE & MINISTRY {Audio/Video Part 9– Time: 27:42}

A. New Testament Ministry: A Functioning Priesthood

1. Three items of furniture in the Holy Placewere the Lampstand, the Table ofShewbread, and the Altar of Incense —

these three work together to form the full Life

and Ministry found within the Holy Place

2. Only after making the Consecration Offeringcould a priest enter through the Veil into theHoly Place — Nevertheless, you are not apriest simply because you call yourself apriest, or merely because someone ordainedyou as a priest — but rather you are a priest

only because you actually function as a priest

3. These functions are specific functions that area type and shadow of the New Testamentpriesthood — where we see a function in the Old Testament priesthood, it should also be true for that in the NewTestament

4. Paul said: I am “ . . . ministering as a priest the Gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may becomeacceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit” (Rom 15:16)

B. Old Testament Priesthood: Type of New Covenant Ministry

1. Priests and sacrifices go together throughout the Word of God — the same must be true in the New Testament —Jesus offered Himself up through the Eternal Spirit — Heb 9:14 — that is to say that the Holy Spirit was “officiating”at offering up of Christ on the Cross

2. Christ’s priesthood is after the Order of Melchizedek — an order of ministry that existed even before Aaron (see Gen14; Heb 7)

a. This priesthood after the Order of Aaron was done away with because it could never bring the believers unto perfection or full maturity

b. Through the New Covenant, God has made provision for us to come unto perfection — Heb 7:11,19; 9:9; 10:1

3. Although not much is mentioned specifically about Melchizedek and His Priesthood, we can clearly understand thePriesthood Order of Melchizedek by carefully studying the Priesthood Order of Aaron which we find completelydetailed for us in the Old Testament

C. New Testament Ministry is Life and Ministry

1. Ministry in the New Covenant is not just what you do it is what you are!

2. It is not the Ministry that produces the Life, but rather it is the Life that produces the Ministry — With this in

mind we have decided to refer to the Holy Place as the Holy Place Life & Ministry

Page 23: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -23-

VI. LAMPSTAND: “FUNCTIONING” CHURCH

A. Lampstand Is the Revelation That Church Needs Today!

1. Only the Lampstand produced light for the Holy Place

2. This light was necessary for the Shewbread to offered up — what the Church needs today!

3. Description of the Lampstand — Exo 25:31-35; 27:30

B. Three Different Measures of Light

1. Light in the Outer Court: Natural Light — No revelation necessary, most ministry in this capacity is done throughthe intellect, etc

2. Light in the Holy Place: Lampstand Light — This is revelation light

a. Only in the Holy Place could real ministry take place in the Light of the Lampstand

b. As the Priest went into the Holy Place and then returned to the Altar of Sacrifice in the Outer Court, he had to stop at the Laver and washhis hands in feet — This speaks of a continual “Washing of Water” with the Word of God — Eph 5:26 — We are not washed in the Wordsimply by reading it, we must do the Word of God to be washed!

3. Light in the Most Holy Place: Light of God’s Glory — No other light was necessary in there! God “alone possessesimmortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see” (1 Tim 6:16)

C. Lampstand is a Revelation of the Church — Rev 1:12,20; 2:1

1. This is a shocking idea since most people think that everyone who is merely born-again (experience at the Altar ofSacrifice) is part of the Church — If this were so, then the Lampstand would have to be placed in the Outer Court

Page 24: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -24-

2. Since the Lampstand is in the Holy Place, this signifies that to be a part of the Church, much more is required than

merely coming to the Altar of Sacrifice before we can be a part of the Lampstand Church!

a. We need to also come to the Laver (Water Baptism), take off the old garments, put on the new garments,

b. We need to be fully anointed (Baptism in the Holy Spirit)

c. We must also make the full Consecration Offering

d. Then we must go through the Veil

(1) This Veil speaks of receiving a revelation of Jesus as Truth — the Truth of who Jesus is and the Truth of who we are!

(2) Without this revelation, we begin to think that God is very lucky to have someone like us around to help Him . . . !

(3) When we really see the Lord and realize who He is, we can only say, “Woe is me!” — we understand that we can do absolutelynothing without Him — He is the source of all ministry

D. “Hammered” Out of One Single Piece of Gold — Exo 25:36 {Audio/Video Part 10– Time: 33:21}

1. The pure solid gold of this Lampstand signifies the character of Christ

2. When we finally come through the Veil, we realize that we are just “Unrefined Gold Ore” — He has do purify us!

3. The gold was purified by heating it up seven times and removing the dross and impurities that came to the top aftereach heating — when the goldsmith could see his face’s reflection in the top of the crucible, then he knew that ithad been purified sufficiently

a. We are both spirit and flesh — like the two fountains James talks about (James 3)

b. As we allow God to work, then the flesh, like the dross is removed little by little

E. No Dimensions Given for the Lampstand — No Molds!

1. Lampstand was so “complicated” that no man could make one — So with the Church, only Jesus can build it!

2. So many times down through history, when there has been revival, people have always attempted to create theperfect “mold” of the Lampstand — but the Lampstand is not made from a “mold” — it is hammered from onepiece of gold!

F. Without Lampstand Light — No Shewbread or Incense!

1. Jesus, as our High Priest, walks in the midst of the Lampstands — the different churches — He know what ishappening in detail — Rev 2:1-2

2. Jesus told the church in Ephesus that unless they repented, He would remove their Lampstand — Rev 2:5 — If thishappened, then the whole ministry in that church would go into darkness!

a. Interesting to note that today there is not even one church in Ephesus (region of Turkey, a Muslim nation) today — What Jesus told thechurch of Ephesus was fulfilled in a very frightening way!

b. About the sixth century, the Church went into darkness for about a thousand years — no more revelation, etc.

G. Lampstand is Not a “Candlestick”

1. A “candlestick” is made of candles that are used up and thrown out — This is how some churches think concerningtheir pastor — just stick him like a candle and let him burn himself out!

2. The design of the “Lampstand” is that it burns oil and not candles!

a. It has a wick that was placed in that oil which needed to be trimmed morning and evening so that no smoke would come from it

b. The Lampstand needed a continuous source of fresh oil — as we see with the parable of the ten virgins — all ten had oil, but only five virginshad enough oil — Mat 25:1-13

3. During days of Eli the priest, they allowed the Lampstand to go out — “there was no open vision” (1 Sam 3:1 KJV)— Outer Court ministry continued as usual and the people did not even know that the Holy Place ministry had goneinto complete darkness

Page 25: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -25-

a. How strange that even though the Lampstand had gone out, the ministry in the Outer Court in the Tabernacle of Moses located at Shilohcontinued and the people didn’t know the difference — they did not even know that it was totally dark in the Holy Place!

b. Soon the enemy came and the Ark of God was taken

H. Where the Oil for the Lampstand Comes From — Zec 4

1. Seven Lamps and Seven Flames of Fire refer to the Seven of the “Seven Spirits of God” which are also referredto “the eyes of the LORD which range to and fro throughout the earth” continually before God’s Throne — Zec4:10; Rev 5:6

2. Two olive branches are the “Two Anointed Ones” which empty oil “from themselves” through the “golden pipes”

3. These are the “These are the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth” (Zec 4:14) —can only be the Spirit of Christ and the Spirit of God

a. Bible Commentaries try to explain these two “Anointed Ones” as the two men or “witnesses” found in Rev 11, but this cannot be, since thosetwo men could never supply oil from themselves to fuel the Lampstand throughout the whole Church age

b. The proper revelation about these two “Anointed Ones” is that they are the “Spirit of Christ” and the “Spirit of God” — there are no othersthat could literally supply oil from themselves throughout the whole Church age!

(1) Eze 36:26 — “a New Spirit” — this refers to the Spirit of Christ which regenerates our own spirit when we are born again

[Note: the Spirit of Christ is not the same as the Spirit of God — when we receive Christ as our Savior it

is not the glorified Christ who is seated at the right hand of God the Father, rather it is Christ’s Spiritwhereby we cry “Abba Father” — see Rom 8:15-16 and Gal 4:6]

(2) Eze 36:27 — “My Spirit” — the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within at the experience of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

4. If there is a place for man and his “ability” in the Lampstand, the only possible location would be the wick — andit needs to be continually trimmed so that it does not smoke! — What a humbling thought!

5. The Seven flames of fire are the Seven Spirits of God which are always before the “Throne of God”

a. It is therefore of utmost importance to let God’s Throne be set up in our hearts if we are to receive any revelation in the Holy Place

b. It is only by the Seven Spirits of God that we are able to receive any revelation

(1) Throughout history there has always been some one with God’s throne set up in his heart and life where the Seven Spirits of Godcan give him revelation

(2) But now we need a corporate group of people, the Church, that needs to come to a place of Consecration in order to provide goldfor the Lampstand so that revelation can come in its fulness as in every previous move of God

6. Note also that Lampstand is not a type of Jesus, “Light of the World” as many try to teach it — The only revelationabout the Lampstand in God’s Word is that it speaks about the Church — Rev 1:12,20; 2:1

a. The Lampstand was never seen outside of the Holy Place — how then could it be a light for the world?

b. Even when the Lampstand was brought out of the Holy Place it was carefully covered so that no one could see it

VII. TABLE OF SHEWBREAD: REVELATION OF GOD’S PURPOSE {Audio/Video Part 11– Time: 29:15}

A. Shewbread Is a Fixed Revelation of Jesus, the Living Word of God

1. Jesus is the “Bread from Heaven” — John 6:48-58

2. Born again by living, abiding Word of God, God’s Seed (1 Pet 1:23); But Jesus is also that Bread from Heaven

which gives Life to all who “eat” of Him

3. The “Lord’s Table” or “Communion” is a celebration done in the “remembrance” of what Christ has done on the

Cross, therefore it cannot be the fulfillment of John 6

4. John 6 is the fulfillment of the Shewbread — He is the Heavenly Manna — we must eat of His flesh in order to haveHis Life within us!

B. Proper Method of Interpretation of Old Testament Types

1. It is not a matter of “personal interpretation” — what we think it might mean, etc.

2. When the Bible offers no revelation into these Types, then often times we must interpret the meaning of the name

a. Example #1 — Heb 7:2 — reveals Melchizedek by interpreting the meaning of the name, Melchizedek, which means King of Righteousness

b. Example #2 — the word “consecrated” or “ordained” (Lev 8:33) actually is a Hebrew idiom which means “to fill the hands” — referringto all the sacrifices that had to be placed in the hands of the priests during the consecration offering, which they then waved before the Lord— a spiritual meaning of “consecration” would indicate that by giving ourselves to God, He will then fill our hands!

Page 27: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -27-

“We must appear before His presence with great reverence, to inquire of Himpersonally, and to meet at His mouth to see what He will say to us, to meet withHim face to face, to hear His voice, receive our food and feed on Him.”

3. Interpretation of the word, “Shewbread” — First of all we must search through God’s Word and discover all thedifferent expressions used to describe the Shewbread, such as: “Shewbread”, “consecrated bread”, “holy bread”,“bread of His presence”, “bread of His Face” [Hebrew Idiom: To meet at someone’s mouth or face meant to go andlisten what they want to say], “continual bread” — can be summed up as follows:

C. Word of God Seen in Three Measures in the Tabernacle:

1. At the Laver — “washing of water with the Word” — Eph 5:26

2. At the Table of Shewbread — revelation for nourishment

3. In the Ark of the Covenant, the “Hidden Manna” in a gold pot — personal “secret” words from God for those whoovercome (Rev 2:17)

D. Shewbread & Lampstand — Seven Spirits of God {Audio/Video Part 12– Time: 26:28}

1. Lampstand Light absolutely necessary to offer up the Shewbread — when Lampstand lights up the Holy Place thenthe “Seven Spirits of God” (Rev 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6) begin to work in our lives

2. The Seven Spirits of God work in balanced “pairs”:

a. Spirit of Judgment & Burning — Isa 4:4 — when God comes to judge something wrong in our life, He also provides power to burnit up and evaporate it

b. Spirit of Wisdom & Understanding — Isa 11:2 — God gives Wisdom and the understanding to use this Wisdom

c. Spirit of Counsel & Might — Isa 11:2 — God gives Counsel as well as the ability and Might to obey that Counsel or to give the Counselto others

d. Spirit of Knowledge & Fear of the Lord — Isa 11:2 — God gives spiritual Knowledge together with Fear so that Knowledge doesn’t“puff up”, causing pride, etc. — when Knowledge present without Fear of God, it is easy to discern that it cannot be True SpiritualKnowledge imparted by revelation

e. Spirit of Grace & Supplication — Zec 12:10 — When burden of prayer comes, God also gives Grace — and also when God givesGrace, use it in prayer

3. When the Seven Spirits of God are burning in our lives, then there is Light for the ministry at the Table ofShewbread — As the Seven Spirits of God which “range to and fro throughout the earth" (Zec 4:10) reveal whatis on God’s heart at the Table of Shewbread, so that then we can offer up prayer at the Altar of Incense

4. Today, now that there is a bit more light shed on the Table of Shewbread, we can see that on God’s Heart is thenext move of God in the Consecration for the whole Church! — So we can take this burden directly to the IncenseAltar

a. We see many men of God in times past moving individually with revelation from God

b. Since martin Luther we see whole groups corporately moving into deeper revelation

c. Seeing this, we can now see how to pray for the corporate move of God that needs to take place at the Consecration Offering seen in theTabernacle of Moses

Page 28: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -28-

E. Only Priests Without “Defects” Can Offer Up the Shewbread

1. The following is a list of “defects” which disqualify those in the priesthood from “offering up” the Bread at the tableof Shewbread — Priests with defects may still eat of the Shewbread (there is enough bread for all!) so that theycould be nourished, etc., but they could not offer up the bread — Lev 21:17-23

a. Blind — cannot see, no vision

b. Lame — cannot walk upright

c. Disfigured Face — unable to be open-faced

d. Deformed Limb — incomplete or superfluous body members

e. Broken Foot — cannot put full weight upon feet

f. Broken Hand — cannot serve

g. Hunchback — bent over with own burden, cannot carry other’s burdens

h. Dwarf — never growing up spiritually

i. Cloudy Eye — can see, but not clearly

j. Eczema (skin irritation) — irritation, no peace

k. Scabs — wounds that never get healed

l. Crushed Testicles — inability to reproduce, cannot impart life

2. Defects will keep us from the Holy Place Life and Ministry

a. Aaron, the High Priest, had many sons, members of His family and they had to be free from these defects in order to “offer” the Shewbread

b. Jesus, our High Priest — Can he allow those of His sons with defects to “offer” bread? — This is why the Church must be washed andcleansed to be presented to Him without blemish

c. Rev 3:17-19 — If it is revealed to us that we have such defects, we can come to Jesus to be healed!

d. The Blood of Jesus does not cover defects — But God can heal these things in our life! — Physical defects are temporary while spiritualdefects will affect us eternally

e. Until such a healing occurs, although we cannot offer the Shewbread, we can still eat of the Shewbread so that we can find nourishmentto grow and be totally healed

VIII. INCENSE ALTAR: PURPOSE CARRIED OUT {Audio/Video Part 13– Time: 31:22}

A. Altar of Incense: Great Need for Effective Prayer

1. Great need in Church today: to pray effectively, “Thy will be done on earth” — not just praying self-centeredprayers for our own happiness! In Kingdom of God, our own happiness is irrelevant — What matters is that whichbrings happiness to the heart of God!

2. This whole progression up to and within the Holy Place is for the purpose of prayer — if the Church today couldunderstand this, it would change everything

a. Lampstand illuminates Shewbread — Shewbread reveals how to pray — Shewbread does not show what man wants but rather what Godwants — What is on His heart!

b. Shewbread speaks of the “Rhema” or “Now” Word of God— the Living Voice of God speaking right now!

c. Most people pray until their needs are met, but Church needs to see that there is no place to stop until God’s needs are met!

d. Man must join in now with God as the Lampstand Church to pray down the purpose of God upon the earth

B. Prayer: Carrying out God’s Eternal Purpose

1. Wood overlaid with gold means God’s Eternal Purpose carried out through man — Exo 30:1-9

2. Crown around top of the Altar of Incense — God ruling through man

a. God gave man dominion over all His creation, but not dominion over Himself (Gen 1-2, Psalm 8; Heb 2:5-10)

b. Man’s authority was usurped by Satan when man sinned in garden — though Satan does not have dominion, he acts like he does and manbeing deceived yields to him

Page 30: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -30-

c. When Christ then rose from the dead, this dominion was then officially given to Christ, who is the Second or Last Adam: "All authority hasbeen given to Me in heaven and on earth” (Mat 28:18)

d. Now in Christ, God has a Man through whom to rule all creation and we rule through Christ as members of His Body

C. Prayer: Our Training to be Overcomers

1. Those who overcome will sit upon His throne to rule with Him — Rev 3:21 — This is incredible that God who

created everything is offering to man to sit upon His throne and rule for eternity! — But this throne is only

available to those who overcome!

2. How do we learn to overcome? — At Altar of Incense — where, by prayer, we enter God’s sovereignty and pray:“Thy will be done on earth just as it is done in heaven” (Mat 6:10)

3. Everything in the Tabernacle leads up to the Altar of Incense where we receive training to be Overcomers —Therefore, everything is focused on Altar of Incense, this is the goal for the end of the Church Age!

4. At Altar of Incense we enter into the Circle of God’s sovereignty — Jesus told us that the Father already knowswhat we have need of (Mat 6:8), so why don’t we pray for what God needs? “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done. . .” (Mat 6:10)

D. Position of Altar of Incense

1. In Old Testament, it appears to be placed within the Holy Place, just in front to the Veil

2. In Heb 9:2-5, the Altar of Incense seems to be in Most Holy Place — the Incense was always to be offered up beforeArk in Most Holy Place

3. Reason? The Inner Veil (Veil between the Holy and Most Holy Places) was rent from top to bottom by God whenChrist died on Cross — now there is just one room for us — the Altar of Incense is in front of the Ark!

4. The Altar of Incense was always meant to be that which brings us directly before God, but in the Old CovenantPriesthood the priests could only enter that place once a year on the Day of Atonement — Now in the NewCovenant this Veil has been removed so that God can offer us this access before Him as He originally intended!

E. Significance of “Gold” in Holy & Most Holy Places

1. Gold Lamp = Character of God (This is why there is no wood)

2. Gold Table of Shewbread = Purpose of God

3. Gold Altar of Incense = Sovereignty and Authority of God’s rule

a. Why cannot God just do what He wants to do by Himself? God has chosen to work through man — This is the meaning of “Wood” overlaidwith Gold

b. In Eze 36:8-36, God declares all that He will do — In Eze 36:37, God says: “I will yet for this be enquired of the house of Israel, to do itfor them”

c. If we pray “according to His will”, we know He will do it (1 John 5:14-15) Asking and receiving hinges on one truth: whether or not theasking flows in God’s will

d. At Altar of Incense we stand within the Circle of God’s sovereignty (remember that for us in the New Testament there is no veil betweenthe Holy Place and the Most Holy Place!) — where we pray down God’s will upon the earth

e. The Ark is not available to us today since the New Jerusalem has not yet been created and this Throne of God is only available for thosewho overcome — Therefore the Altar of Incense is as far as we can go during this Church Age until we overcome which is exactly what weare trained for at the Altar of Incense!

F. Four Aspects of the Priest’s Ministry — 2 Chro 29:11

1. Four Aspects, three aspects of these four are ministry unto God, only one aspect of ministry is directed toward thepeople

a. “Stand before Him”

b. “To minister to Him”

c. “To be His ministers”

d. “To burn incense”

Page 31: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -31-

2. Sadly the Church often focuses on the Outer Court Ministry and the ministry toward the people and not the otherThree-Fourths of ministry unto the Lord at the Altar of Incense!

G. God’s Purpose for this Holy Place Life & Ministry {Audio/Video Part 14– Time: 27:56}

1. Gold Lampstand — Unity for God’s Purpose —

Unless a Rom 12:1-2 consecration occurs in the Church, there will not be any gold to build the Lampstand from— Once gold is provided, then God’s will is to “hammer” the single piece of gold into the Lampstand therefore allunity is realized in the Holy Place at the Lampstand and nowhere else

a. Consecration is not a static end of te outer court experiences — God cannot get gold for the Lampstand if the gold ore keeps jumping outof the refiner’s pot!

b. Once consecrated, God then brings us back . . .

(1) God brings us back to Altar of Sacrifice for a deeper cleansing in the Blood

(2) Then He takes to greater separation and cleansing in God’s Word at the Laver

(3) Then there are many more garments that God gives us along with a greater and more abundant anointing

(4) Finally we are brought to a deeper consecration where, at the Veil, we come to a deeper revelation of Jesus the Truth and the cyclejust continues . . .

2. Gold Table of Shewbread — Revelation of God’s Purpose

3. Gold Altar of Incense — Function within God’s Purpose

H. Everything about the Altar of Incense Is in “Fours”:

1. Exo 30:1-10 — Four sides, Four horns, Four rings, Four places to carry

2. Exo 30:9 — Four things that cannot be used upon the Altar of Incense

a. Strange incense

b. Burnt offering

c. Meal offering

d. Libation (drink offering)

3. Exo 30:34 — Incense was made of Four equal portions of elements (Stacte, Oncha, Galbanum, and PureFrankincense) and perfectly blended together by the Perfumer — this mixture of Incense was only for God, not forpersonal use (could not use it for personal benefit or enjoyment! — see Exo 30:37-38)

4. Four requirements in how to make the Incense

a. As a Perfume, after the work of the Perfumer

b. Salted (KJV — “tempered together”)

c. Pure

d. Holy

5. Four ways to use the Incense

a. Exo 30:36 — Placed some of it before the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place

b. Exo 30:7-8 — Burned some of it upon Altar of Incense in Holy Place

c. Num 16:46-47 — Burned some of it in a Brass Censor (For stopping plagues, sickness, catastrophes, disasters, etc.) — and then ran withthis Censor throughout the camp of God’s people wherever the problem was

d. Lev 16:12-13 — Burned some of it in a Gold Censor and brought into Most Holy Place on the day of Atonement

Page 32: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -32-

6. Four things required in order to properly use burn Incense

a. Proper Altar for the Incense

b. Proper mixture of Incense

c. Proper kind of Fire — unlike Aaron’s sons, Nadab & Abihu (Lev 10:1-2)

d. Consecration — unlike King Uzziah who, although not a consecrated priest, attempted to offer the incense (2 Chron. 26:16-21) — There

was literally nothing that could be accomplished in the Tabernacle without consecration!

7. Perfumer’s Mixture — A Blending of Four Things — need to let the Holy Spirit as our “Perfumer” blend our prayers!— We need to allow the Holy Spirit to “blend” our prayers in just the right proportions!

a. Prayer

b. Praise

c. Worship

d. Thanksgiving

I. Incense Altar: Place of Sacrificial Prayer

1. Incense cannot be used to fill our pockets or to use it for our own purposes because we want something in return

2. Altar in Scripture always speaks about sacrifice and we must remember that the Incense was for God and Godalone! — To pray down, not our purpose and desires, but His purpose upon the earth, to pray the “Rhema” or“Now” Word of God

3. Requirement to be members of Christ’s Family (see Mat 12:50 and Luke 8:21) is that we must hear His Word anddo His will! — Therefore we cannot be part of the High Priest’s Family and offer up Incense at this altar unless wequalify in this manner! — God is a Father and has lots of children, but for His Son, Jesus Christ, God the Fatheris looking for a mature and perfect Bride

J. Incense Altar: Summary of Details

1. Altar = Sacrifice

2. Incense = Praying down God’s purpose upon the earth

3. Wood overlaid with Gold = God’s purpose worked out through man

4. Crown around Altar = Ruling with God through prayer

5. Four Horns at corners of Altar = Our dominion and authority under God’s dominion as we are in apprenticeshipwith Him through prayer

6. Smoke of the Incense = Our access before God’s Throne

7. Fire upon Altar = The Holy Spirit’s assistance as we pray, He is our “Comforter” or “Paracletos” meaning “Onecalled along side to help”

IX. VEIL BETWEEN HOLY PLACEAND MOST HOLY PLACE: LIFE {Audio/Video Part 15– Time: 34:38}

A. Whole Purpose of Consecration: To Come Through Inner Veil

Nothing at all can begin inside of the Holy Place without Consecration — This is the only way that Gold can be providedto build the Lampstand

B. This Veil Represents “Zoe” Life

1. It was this veil that was rent when Jesus died on Cross — Now the Holy Place and Most Holy Place are one placeof Life and Ministry

2. “Psuche” Life refers to our natural soul-life / “Zoe” Life (used over 120 times in New Testament) refers to specificLife of God, Eternal Life

a. Both words used in John 12:25 — “He who loves his life [Psuche] loses it, and he who hates his life [Psuche] in this world will keep it toLife [Zoe] eternal” — He who loses his “Psuche”-Life will find his “Zoe”-Life

b. Jesus laid down His “Psuche-life” to gain “Zoe-Life” — John 10:11-15

3. Altar of Incense is not the final goal, we still have one more Veil to pass through in our experience and this Veil isthe Torn Veil which speaks of a life laid down — 1 John 3:16

4. This Torn Veil is the “Eternal Cross” that is the principle upon which all the Kingdom of God operates.

Page 34: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -34-

C. Boldness to Enter Within this Veil — Heb 10:19-23

1. The word “Boldness” in Greek is “Parresia” — boldness or freedom of speech (2 Cor 7:4)

2. This “boldness” is not simple access because we are born again! — a born-again person has only come as far asthe Brazen Altar of Sacrifice

3. Only Overcomers can actually come into the Most Holy Place — There is a whole process that must beaccomplished in our lives in order to produce an ability and a stability — this is a process where God changes usfrom what we are to what we must be in order to come into this Most Holy Place

D. Jesus’ Evangelistic Message — Not a “Half-Price” Gospel!

1. Jesus’ first Evangelistic Message in Matthew Chapters 5,6,7 — What we see in these chapters is so impossible thatwe cannot fulfill them by ourselves — they deal with attitudes, and character, as well as our thought-life, etc. — tobe “perfect as My Father in Heaven is perfect” (Mat 5:48)

2. Bad News is that we cannot fulfill these chapters ourselves!

3. Good News is that anything God requires, He will also make the provision — the provision is a transformation inour lives through Outer Court experiences

a. New Birth is the first experience required

b. Water Baptism and laying aside our old life and then washing and putting on the new garments is next experience

c. Then we need the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the full Anointing

d. Finally we need full Consecration Offering

4. If someone is Born Again, most people today refer to it as a “satisfactory conversion” — but if he has come as faras the Consecration Offering, then God’s Eternal Purpose has not been satisfied

5. Consecration is definitely a part of the Gospel

a. By making Consecration an option, we are making the Gospel a “Gospel of the Give-Aways”, “Gospel of the Bargains”, “Half-Price Gospel”,“It’s all free! Just believe!”, etc.

b. We tell people that they must be born-again, that they must be baptized, etc., but when it comes to Consecration, we call it an option! Thiscannot be satisfactory conversion for God wants a Kingdom of Priests, and Priests are not Priests without the Consecration Offering!

c. Consecration Offering is for every child of God, not just for ministry!

d. When we realize this, then we don’t have to offer apologies for the requirements and demands of the Kingdom of God!

6. To the “Lampstand” Church in Laodicea, Jesus says: “I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire!” (Rev 3:18)— There is a price to pay!

7. The only Real Revival and Satisfactory Conversion is when the Church arrives at the Altar of Incense

E. Circle of God’s Sovereignty — “Thy Kingdom Come”

1. At Altar of Incense we stand in “Circle of God’s Sovereignty”

2. Everything about Altar of Incense is if “fours”: Father, Son, Holy Spirit and the “Priesthood” work togetheras one to do God’s will!

3. This authority in god’s Sovereignty is for the purpose of praying God’s will down on the earth: “Thy Kingdom come— Thy Will be done!”

4. When God’s Kingdom is come, demons and evil spirits go!

F. Hezekiah’s Revival “Key Word”Consecration– 2 Chro 29,30,31

1. Hezekiah only started with a few priests began to consecrate themselves

2. These few went in and cleansed the temple, removed idols, etc.

3. These then celebrated the Passover for the first time in many years

4. Then more priests began to consecrate themselves — the more priests consecrated themselves, the more revivalbegan to fill the land

G. “Now” Word: Anchor of Hope Within this Veil – Heb 6:17-20

1. A hope and strong encouragementto enter into this Holy Place Lifeand Ministry is one built solidlyupon two immutable things: God’sPromise and God’s Oath

2. All these experiences are beingoffered — they are notimpossibilities, they are realitiespromised us by God

3. Jesus carried this Anchor within theVeil for us . . . Let’s go in!

X. ARK OF THE COVENANT {Audio/Video Part 16– Time: 24:00}

A. Ark Appeared in His Temple — Rev 11:18-19

1. Rev 11 is a picture of the end of the 7-Year Great Tribulation where suddenly God’s Temple is opened for all tosee and the Ark of His Testament is seen in His Temple

2. There are about 75 or more Scriptures that refer to the Ark but the only one that gives us any revelation and weunderstand that the Ark speaks about Christ

3. Three items within the Ark and therefore are in Christ:

a. The Two Tables of the Law — God’s work in us

b. Hidden Manna in a golden pot — Personal word from God

c. Aaron’s Rod that budded — God’s ruling authority

4. Psa 132:8 — Upon “Ark of the Covenant”, it is between the Cherubim that God is speaking — Psa 80:1; Exo 25:22

5. The Ark is the Temple where the New Jerusalem is located (Rev 21)

a. This City has dimensions 1,500 by 1,500 by 1,500 miles — Rev 21:16

b. No Temple inside the City because God and the Lamb are the Temple thereof — In other words, the City is inside the Temple! — Rev 21:22

c. This Ark (within the Temple) therefore refers to the Authority and Throne of God, the ruling place of God where the Law of God goes forthand it is at this location that there is also the “Hidden Manna”!

Page -37-

B. Ark of God & Tabernacle of David — 2 Chro 1:4

1. There have been many teachings developed about David’s Tabernacle, but without seeing it in perspective toMoses’ Tabernacle it is only a perversion of the actual truth of what God wants

2. History and Background of David’s Tabernacle

a. Moses’ Tabernacle was kept at Shiloh, the Ark was taken after Eli’s sons allowed the Lamp to go out

b. The Ark was then returned by the Philistines and it was kept at an Israelite’s house

c. David decided to bring the Ark of God into Jerusalem and there he pitched a three-sided tent for the Ark, called the Tabernacle of David

d. David also taught Levites to sing and worship the Lord before the Ark

3. Amos 9:11-15 — Prophecy about rebuilding David’s Tabernacle

a. To Rebuild the Tabernacle of David, we must be within the Most Holy Place! Therefore this next revival that Amos prophesies about mustinclude the Consecration Offering for the following reason:

(1) At Consecration Offering, God receives Gold to build the Lampstand Church

(2) When Lampstand is its proper location within the Holy Place, and the Seven Spirits of God are providing illumination for theShewbread, then we can offer up Incense upon the Altar of Incense, praying down God’s will upon the earth

(3) Since the Inner Veil has removed, we see the Tabernacle of David restored, a Tabernacle where we are standing right before the

Ark of God in the Most Holy Place — This then is the restoration of the Tabernacle of David

b. How do we know that it is time for this revival? Because as Amos prophesies, we see Israel has returned from captivity to its land — “AlsoI will restore the captivity of My people Israel, And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards anddrink their wine, And make gardens and eat their fruit. I will also plant them on their land, And they will not again be rooted out from theirland Which I have given them” (Amos 9:14-15)

c. Since, without doubt, this is God’s Timing, the Church must come together and make the Consecration Offering in order not to miss thisfulfillment!

XI. TABERNACLE OF GOD IN HEAVEN {Audio/Video Part 17– Time: 32:58}

A. Introduction the Tabernacle of God in Eternity-Future

1. In Rev 21 & 22 — John receives arevelation of Eternity where he seesNew Heaven, New Earth, and being takenup to “high mountain” by an angel, Johnviews the glory of the New Jerusalem

2. Tabernacle of Moses is a picture ofTabernacle in Heaven — Heb 9:11

3. Isaiah gives some details about the City ofGod and Mount Zion, but he does not showthe preparation needed to get there

4. The Tabernacle of Moses reveals both thevarious places in Heaven and the step-by-step preparation necessary to get there!

5. The Tabernacle of Moses is therefore arevelation of God’s Eternal Purpose in HisEternal Kingdom— Revealing therequirements for being a part of thisKingdom

B. Three Specific Places in Heaven — Rev21:1-3

1. The Tabernacle reveals three specificlocations in Heaven — All three parts arereferred to as the Tabernacle of God

a. Outer Court — New Earth — God, as a Father, will have many children which have not fullygrown to maturity

b. Holy Place — New Heaven — those who cameto maturity according to their time period

(1) Various Old Testament Saints for whom the Veil had not yet been rent

(2) John the Baptist, greatest of all men born of women, but the least in Kingdom is greater than he — he was only the “Friend” of theBridegroom , not the Bride (Mat 11:11; John 3:29)

c. Most Holy Place — New Jerusalem — the Bride of Christ which needs the preparation mentioned in Eph 5:25-27

2. What God began in Genesis 1 and 2, according to His Eternal Purpose, He perfectly finishes in Revelation 21 and22 — He is the Alpha and the Omega! — Reading these two chapters reveals just how perfect the Bride really needso be!

C. Marriage of the Lamb — Rev 19:7-9

1. Multitudes will attend the wedding, but only one Bride

2. Bride for a day, Wife for eternity — yet the Bride is spoken about and referred to for a thousand years (Millennialreign of Christ) — One day with the Lord is a thousand years — Only in Rev 21, after the Millennium, is Shereferred to as the Lamb’s Wife

3. Glorious appearance of the Lamb’s Wife — To John’s amazement, the Lamb’s Wife looks just like a City! — Rev21:9-11

4. God is a Father and therefore has many children and for everyone there will be a place, but the problem is that noteverybody will be in the same place!

5. New Jerusalem has no opaqueness — Totally transparent and the glory of God shines right through it to illuminatethe nations of those saved on New Earth

6. In eternity all former things will never come to mind — and although not a part of the Bride, those in New Heavenand new Earth will be in a tremendous place of joy, somewhat like the Garden of Eden and Paradise — No moreremembrance of former things, and “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes” (Rev 21:4)

7. Those who are in New Jerusalem have come to Perfection as the Bride who has become one with the Bridegroom— she has grown up into Him, “bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh”

D. Genesis Chapters 1 & 2: Prophetic of God’s Eternal Purpose

1. God’s intention for Man to rule over and guard and protect all creation

2. Woman made for Man — she was created perfect, fully grown and mature — she was like Him

3. Just like it was not good for the First Adam to be alone, God has determined the Last Adam, Jesus, not be aloneeither!

4. Jesus is the Last Adam who transfers all of His authority to His Wife and she rules and reigns with Him

E. City of God: New Jerusalem {Audio/Video Part 18– Time: 26:14}

1. Isaiah 60:11,13-14,19-20 fulfilled in Rev 21:23-24

2. The kings that rule over the cities of New Earth (as Jesus mentioned to disciples, some will rule over 5 cities, etc.Luke 19:11-26) have their citizenship in New Jerusalem — They are able to rule in the character of Christ and inhumility — because, as His Bride, they have been made like Christ and have His very disposition!

3. Perfection of City — Rev 21:19-27

F. Lamb’s Book of Life

1. Rev 20:12-15 — many books, having name written in the Book of Life is the minimum requirement for escapingthe Lake of Fire

2. No one can enter the New Jerusalem unless there name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life — Rev 21:27 — Theyare in the Lamb’s Book because they belong to the Lamb

3. Rev 21:7-8 — Overcomers will inherit all things (also Rev chaps. 2—3 — note the expression: “He who overcomes”)

4. Those who do not overcome will be of the “nations of them that are saved” that walk dwell on the New Earth —Rev 21:24 — Remember there is a place for everybody, but not everybody is in the same place

G. Different Groups in Heaven — Not a Strange Idea in Scripture

1. Rev 7:9-17 — Great multitudes from Great Tribulation:

a. They are before the Throne in God’s Temple

b. No temple in New Jerusalem, so this must be New Heaven

Page 40: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -40-

2. Rev 6:9-11 — This group has a vengeful cry so they could not have come to the maturity of Christ

3. Rev 15:2-3 — We see another group standing on the Sea of Glass singing the Song of Moses — Moses sang Hissong after crossing the Red Sea

4. Rev 3:21 — Another group of Overcomers on the throne

5. Isa 65:17-19 — Isaiah’s prophesied of the Heavenly Jerusalem

6. Isa 66:20-22 — In the Old Covenant the Levites only ministered in the things of the Outer Court — Only Aaron’ssons could minister in the Holy Place — another picture of different places in heaven — Both Priest and Levites allIsraelites, part of same family, but different positions and function within the Tabernacle

7. 2 Pet 3:10-15 — New Heavens (plural) and a New Earth wherein dwells righteousness

8. Summary: God has a place for everyone, but not everyone will be in the same place! If the Church could see this,it would begin to long for God to work in it until it could attain to this glorious Eternal Purpose

H. His Bond-Servants Will Serve Him and See His Face {Audio/Video Part 19– Time: 39:02}

1. Importance of studying about the Bond-Servants is that it gives us a greater impact of the Consecration Offering

2. Why is there a chapter division between Rev 21 and 22? — Possibly only because of the same division betweenGen 1 and 2 — God wanted to bring everything altogether back into His Eternal Purpose!

3. Rev 22:3-5 — His “Bond-Servants”

a. Servant in most translations but “Bond-Servant” is better description

b. The Greek word “Doulos” literally means: a slave, bondman, man of servile condition; one who gives himself up to another's will thosewhose service is used by Christ in extending and advancing his cause among men; devoted to another to the disregard of one's own interests

4. Old Testament Law of “Bond-Servants” — Exo 21:1-6; Deu 15:12-18

a. When in debt, a Hebrew man or woman was sold to another for a term of six years

b. We are in debt beyond ourselves unto God, but Jesus Christ has purchased us

(1) We are bought with a price — 1 Cor 6:20; 7:23

(2) We belong to Him — Rom 14:7-8

c. Service of a Bond-Servant was twice that of a hired servant!

d. At the end of six years the Bond-Servant was set free with blessing

e. If Bond-servant decided to stay because he loves his master — his ear was to be pierced and he would be a Bond-Servant for ever

(1) Psalm 40:6 — “My ear hast Thou opened (pierced or digged)” — our ears also are opened to hear His voice “morning by morning”(Isaiah 50:4)

(2) This is the consecration offering where we choose to do His will forever — and then we can hear His voice clearly

5. God has a place for those who wholly obey like these Bond-servants and there are many different metaphors thatdescribe these ones, metaphors which also describe how they are transformed — “His Body, His Bride, theOvercomers, a City, an Army, a Building, a Temple, etc.

I. Dominion Given to His Saints

Dan 7:13-14 — The Dominion is first given to Jesus, the Son of Man; then Jesus gives this dominion to His Saints (seeDan 7:27) — This is a picture of the rule and authority given to the Bride of Christ

J. Jesus and Bride Are One

1. You cannot see two thrones in heaven, one for Jesus and one for His Bride, because the Bride is one with Jesus— “bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh”

2. One wedding, one Bride, but many invited guests!

Page 41: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -41-

3. Song of Solomon 6:8-10

a. 60 Queens

b. 80 Concubines

c. Virgins without number

d. Only one Bride, one Dove, one Undefiled and she is glorious!

K. To See the Glory of God

1. Moses longed to see God’s glory: “Then Moses said, ‘I pray You, show me Your glory!’”; but God told Moses:“ . . . You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!” (Exo 33:18-20)

a. God’s face is His glory

b. No natural man can see God’s Face

2. Isa 33:14 — “. . . Who among us can live with the consuming fire? Who among us can live with continual burning?”— Natural man could never dwell in the burning Presence of God, he would be burned up — it would be too muchfor him!

3. Psalm 24:3-4 — “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who hasclean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully”

4. Heb 12:29 — “For our God is a consuming fire”

a. To some, this fire is Hell

b. To some, this fire is like the sun

c. To others, it is the Fire of His Love!

5. 1 Tim 6:16 — “. . . dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see. . .”

a. Only those who are transparent can dwell in such Light, because any opaqueness would be burned up

b. Understanding this, we can see that Kingdom Requirements God has given are not unreasonable demands for there is no other way tosurvive this Light

c. This is why we need to be transformed from “glory to glory” to live in that glory!

L. Living Stones for New Jerusalem

1. 1 Pet 2:5 — Living Stones

2. Solomon’s Temple

a. Stones were cut to shape right at the same quarry from where they had been dug

b. No sound of a hammer or chisel at the Temple sight — 1 Kings 6:7

3. God’s Work in our lives

a. We are in the quarry here on earth

b. The evangelist comes and sets a charge of dynamite to blast out the stones and then moves on

c. The other ministries, by the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit (“I will build My Church” — Jesus alone knows how to build the Church— no man knows to do this), come and begin the hammering and chiseling necessary to shape each rock

4. When Holy Spirit shows us our irregularities we might as well let Him cut it off! If we resist and try to keep theseirregular shapes we will not fit in that City!

5. Erroneous doctrine to teach or assume that at the Rapture all these irregularities will be removed — There can be

Page 42: and - Eternal Vision Ministries · A. Introduction to the Tabernacle & God’s Eternal Purpose B. Jesus Is Our High Priest C. Tabernacle of Moses & Tabernacle in Heaven D. Three Veils

Page -42-

no sound of hammer or chisel once we are there!

6. God puts us in a quarry with a bunch of other people (living stones) and in this way begins to reveal unto us allof our own irregularities!

M. God’s Design & Confidence for a Pile of Dust to Rule

1. In God’s Eternal Purpose, He has always intended for man to rule

2. It seems as if Satan had rule over the earth at one point in time, but God dethroned him — Satan still walks aroundas if the earth were his

3. God creates man from a Pile of Dust and then commands Man to keep the Garden, have dominion over creation, and to subdue all God’s enemies: “. . . to make the enemy and the revengeful cease” (Psa 8:2)

a. Man could not subdue Satan — Satan is wiser than man

b. Choice of two trees: Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge

(1) Eat of Tree of Life and man will be able to subdue enemies

(2) Eat of Tree of Knowledge and you will die

c. God can perfect this Pile of Dust called man, cause Him to rule, and even turn him into a transparent City of gold and precious stones!

N. Final Listing of Requirements — 2 Peter 1:1-11

1. All these requirements are necessary if man is to participate in God’s Eternal Purpose

2. These verses show us that God is building His character into us one attribute upon another

3. “For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the trueknowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten hispurification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and

choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the

Eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.”

XII. FINAL APPEAL TO THE CHURCH {Audio/Video Part 20– Time: 5:09}

“Brethren, seeing these things what manner of life should we be living? Seeing who He is and seeing His eternalpurpose, and seeing the Heart of God to have a perfected Bride, full-grown, beautiful, pure like the sun, growinglike the dawn . . . what manner of life should we live? Seeing that His Bond-servants will be in that City and serveHim for ever and ever, seeing that His Bond-servants see His face, can we afford not to give ourselves wholly to Godto do the whole will of God? After seeing those things how can we refuse Him that is speaking?

“We have come to the time in the Church’s life and its restoration when God is calling the whole Church — let’s say awhole City, or let’s say a whole field, whatever the metaphor — He’s calling the whole group to a total, absoluteconsecration, totally giving ourselves to Him to do His will, whatever it means, whatever it costs us, and where everit takes us. Since we have come that time in Church history and all these other things have been fulfilled exactlyaccording to the pattern in the Tabernacle, how should we respond?

“It is not an emotional thing, it comes by revelation. It comes by revelation of knowing who He is and knowing what Godpurposed before the foundation of the world. It comes by the understanding of knowing that it is just logical —Certainly it is logical that God would want a perfected Bride for His Son. It is just logic to know that God is notlooking for a Bride for His Son who is half-grown. He is not coming for baby-bride, He is coming for full-grownBride. Just like when God took a bone out of Adam, built a woman, perfected her till she was full-grown like himand brought her to him. That is what God is doing. He is building a full-grown Bride and will bring her to Jesus andwe see her in Revelation nineteen. There are going to be multitudes at the Wedding, but there is only going to beone Bride — that one who has come to perfection.

“My appeal to the Church is: Respond to the Message of God. Let God draw you into His Eternal Purpose. Then let theHoly Spirit begin chip away at those rough spots in your life. Let Him begin to correct your character. Let Himchange your disposition. If you have outbursts of anger, that is not coming from Jesus, That is coming from this otherfountain which is in there. Let God dry up that other fountain from which all these unclean things are coming. LetGod sanctify your life. When you feel the discipline of God come, yield to it immediately like a son. Because thosewho don’t yield to discipline are illegitimate children.

“My appeal to the Church is this: Give yourself to God. Do it today! Make yourself a consecration offering unto Him.We are not asking anybody to give themselves to a church, to a denomination, or to a ministry. We are askingpeople give themselves wholly to God to do His will, whatever that means. Amen.”
