01// MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (MoFA)

Company: Henning Larsen ArchitectsPhase: Concept Design, Schematic DesignThe renovation project aims to restore the original qualities of the building (Built by Henning Larsen Architects in 1984) that had been tampered with by successive construction while at the same time im-proving the interiors to create a modern workspace.

My role in the project consisted in producing drawings from the sche-matic to the detail design including floor plans and room drawings as well as graphic representations of the proposed design.

THE FLEXIBILITY

Natural light inside the building before and after the renovation Revitalization of the building’s interior courtyards with the addition of vegetation and a sprinkler cooling system

The defragmentation of the ministry departments determines an incresed efficiency of the space and allows for more workstations and shared functional areas to be added.

By removing the dividing walls that had been built whitout proper planning throughout the years we provide daylight to the open areas as well as incresing the space for workstations.
