Dear 3ABN Family, It was pitch black outside, and as I aimed my very bright LED flashlight

into the darkness, the beam of light valiantly did its best to pierce the night. I walked carefully around our house— nothing! I pointed the light toward our garden—stillness. Then, as I pointed the light far out into our neighbor’s field, I saw two very small eyes glowing back at me.

Ah ha! That’s what I was looking for. “Here kitty, kitty,” and sure enough, the two eyes started quickly moving toward me. Soon our furry gray cat marched right past me and into our garage, where she stays each night. She was home once again, safe from the coyotes and bobcats that roam around our property.

That story makes me wonder, Are you safe at home in God’s family? Is your story one of wandering away from God, and do you need to come back home? Have you accepted Him into your life?

God is calling you by name to be a part of His family. He’s shining the light of truth onto your path back home. Right now, I encourage you to ask Jesus into your life. He loves you with an everlasting love. He died for you, and He’s coming again, very soon.

For those who are already part of God’s family, won’t you help us shine the light of God’s Word into every dark corner of this world? Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12.

Angels still sing AND WE ECHO THEIR SONG!

Once a year, our world turns its attention to others. Acts of charity increase, and it seems like everyone is thinking of gifts, food, and gatherings—as much as their

situation allows. But as the Christmas season approaches, inevitably, they hear the story about the night the angels brought the good news of a Savior to the shepherds of Bethlehem.

On that night, as they watched over their flocks, those shepherds could not have imagined the throngs of angels awaiting the signal to declare the most joyful news the world had ever heard.

The shepherds had spent many hours talking of the promised Savior and longing for the coming of their King when suddenly, an angel of the Lord stood before them and the glory of the Lord shone around them.

Quickly, the angel said, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. ” Luke 2:9–11.

Imagine the joy those words brought to the hearts of the shepherds. Their Deliverer had come! The oppressive forces that ruled their land would finally be defeated, and Israel would rise again as a mighty nation! But the angel prepared them, instead, to rec-ognize their Savior in poverty and humiliation, adding, “You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” Luke 2:12.

Mindful of their human condition, the angel had quieted their fears, then told them where to find Jesus, while allowing them time to adjust their eyes to his divine radiance. But now the joy and glory of the host of angels could no longer be hidden, and the entire plain lit up as the bright and glorious angels burst out in song! “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men,” they sang as the chorus echoed across the hills.

As the angels disappeared and the light faded away, the shadows of night once more fell on the hills of Bethlehem. But the brightest picture ever beheld by human eyes remained etched in the memory of those shepherds. Yes, the Light of the world—and its only hope—had been born and was now resting in a lowly manger. But oh, what hope He brought with Him. For 4,000 years, the righteous had longed and prayed for the prophecies to be fulfilled, and now He had arrived!

We Echo the SongIn the angels’ song was the promise that later would come from the lips of our lovely

Savior, Himself. Reading from Isaiah 61, He said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18–19.

Throughout thousands of years, we have clung to those words so full of hope. And for the past 36 years, Three Angels Broadcasting Network has echoed the song of the angels—and our Lord, Jesus Christ. By the grace of God and the power of His Holy Spirit, we are still preaching the gospel to the poor, healing the bro-kenhearted, proclaiming liberty to the captives, restoring spiritual sight to the blind, and setting at liberty those who are oppressed, while proclaiming the news of His Second Coming!

Throughout the world, a huge cho-rus of voices can be heard, sharing the good news with friends, loved ones, and anyone who will listen—urging them to prepare for that glorious day.

The Angels Still SingWithout a doubt, the human race is still

the focus of Heaven’s concern and love, and the same angels who sang over 2,000 years ago still rejoice when a sinner is saved.

God declares, “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground” (Isaiah 44:3), and “Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness” (Psalm 112:4). Those who seek for light and accept it with gladness will walk in the brightness of God’s throne.

For those who love Jesus, proclaiming His Second Coming will be—as it was when the angels sang over Bethlehem—good tidings of great joy. Many who have been hesitant to make a decision between Christ and the world are feeling that it’s time to take a stand. Christians everywhere are awakening to the fact that time is short, and that whatever we do for our fellow men must be done quickly.

Won’t you join us as we echo that song from long ago? The angels still sing. Let’s join our voices in that great song!

As we look back on 2020, we can see how the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about major changes. But for our Production department, those

changes have been particularly profound and significant.

A Life-Changing Year“This has been a life-changing year for me,” says 3ABN Production Manager, Jorge

Jaque. “We started 2020 by getting ready for a winter camp meeting in Loma Linda, California. But as we prepared, we kept hearing that a new virus was coming at some point. The Spirit of the Lord moved in a powerful way during that event, and thousands were blessed; but we didn’t realize it would be our last event on the road for quite a while.

“Next, we’d planned to cover a huge free healthcare event called, Your Best Pathway to Health, leading up to the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Indianapolis, Indiana. But after much prayer, we decided not to go—and almost immediately, the organizers cancelled that event, too. Then the General Conference itself was cancelled, along with just about everything else for the year—but God was still in charge!

Meeting Our Viewer’s NeedsJorge says that from that point on, our main concern was how to keep producing

content for all of our networks while keeping our employees, presenters, and guests safe. “Greg and Jill Morikone quickly realized that our viewers and listeners desper-ately needed reliable health information about the virus and messages of hope during a time when so many were dying,” Jorge recalls. “So they did Skype interviews with many of the best health experts, and quickly developed a new worship program set.

“That marked a major shift for us in the use of LED panel technology. Instead of building a set and then adding furniture and lighting, an LED wall allowed us to build a virtual set in a computer, adjust the colors, the lighting, and even virtual furniture very easily. Our new 3ABN Worship Hour was the perfect addition to our Sabbath School Panel, just as churches everywhere closed down in a desperate attempt to flatten the curve of infection. Then, as COVID-19 raced across America, the Adventist-laymen’s and Industries (ASI) Convention reached out, and in a matter of weeks we were able to put together their Virtual Chapter Meetings and host their first Virtual ASI Inter-national Convention from our studios! 6 7

Jorge pauses for a long moment. “That was an intense time of prayer for every-one’s safety—and I get emotional about this, because so far, no one in our production department has been affected by the virus! We’ve had a few cases in other departments, and we have had to isolate each building to contain the spread, but no one has gotten seriously sick from it. I can only attribute that to the Lord. We do all we can to be responsible and safe, but I have no doubt that God is protecting us.”

Jorge says it is clear that the Lord foresaw our problems and provided us with solu-tions. “Just before the pandemic hit, our president, Greg Morikone, was impressed to start using LED panels. I believe that was the Holy Spirit’s direction, because with the addition of new 3-D software, we are now able to design sets and adjust the colors, lighting, and obtain three-dimensional effects in ways we could not have done before. We’ve produced year-end specials with new LED wall backgrounds on our new Pavilion set, and now we can change the seasons with a click of a mouse!

“We just finished our first-ever interactive, Virtual 3ABN Camp Meeting, and we had record numbers of questions and comments delivered by text. That tells me that people are receiving the message. We’ve never been busier, and we just praise the Lord!”

Looking ForwardLooking forward, Jorge says that the use of LED panels will increase. “We’re looking

forward to incorporating them into the 3ABN Today set at some point, and in our other studios, as well,” he says. “We’re also looking forward to building a new television pro-duction truck, since the one we have has served us for over 21 years now, and the aging equipment has been hauled over many thousands of miles. Time is short, and we need to prepare to do much more when the virus abates and we can go on the road again.”

Turning Evil to BlessingJorge is quick to see the blessings. “Our Production department is really the heart

of this ministry because it relies on fresh programming to keep our audience growing spiritually. I believe that’s why our Lord protects us so carefully,” he adds, quietly. “We have a very young production team who have chosen to use their talents for the Lord, and they’re putting out a high volume of content. COVID-19 is a real threat, but God has turned a curse into a blessing. If we trust Him, He will see us through.”

Velma in Loveland, Colorado, wrote about 3ABN’s effort to help the Paradise Seventh-day Adventist Church in Califor-nia after it was destroyed by fire. “I was so pleased when your mail came telling of the progress,” she says. “God is surely blessing that church after that disaster. My son and his wife were affected, losing their home and work. But God has blessed them, as they are now safe in a new home nearby their work. I believe God blesses 3ABN because of your support of so many other ministries. I watch the 3ABN Sabbath School Panel and then I watch the preach-ing before my local series. I feel spiritually blessed. The love between your workers comes through very plainly. I think that is the reason God can bless you.”

Joy from Wrightsville, Georgia, wrote to say that a 3ABN program has made a huge difference in her life. “Some-one put in a 3ABN dish for us back in April, and someone else gave us a copy of 3ABN World magazine with the daily program listings,” she explains. “That’s how I found the early morning Body & Spirit exercise program! Please send us your 3ABN World magazine, as I shared mine with an inter-ested relative.”

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many have told us how much they rely on our Sabbath programming to help keep them connected to their fellow believers.

Dante shared how the Holy Spirit has been working on his heart. “I’m 16 years old and I was born into a broken home,” he begins. “My Adventist dad tried to teach me about Jesus, but I had no real interest in religion. I was aware of the Bible and knew about Jesus, but the world kept winning and a deep rift developed between my dad and me. Then last year I came under a deep conviction that melted my heart, and I gave my life to Christ—but I was not truly con-verted. Then COVID-19 happened and my church closed; but I determined I wouldn’t let that stop me from seeking Christ. “One day I remembered a book I bor-rowed from the library explaining why Sunday is not the Bible Sabbath, and within weeks, that book and others helped me understand the basics of The Great Con-troversy, and the significance of the Sab-bath. They opened my mind to reading my paper Bible instead of the one on my phone.... 3ABN has had a role in my life every Sabbath. The 3ABN Sabbath School Panel, and the Quarterly Bible Study Guides have inspired me to share Jesus in my community.”

Judith emailed, saying, “Heartfelt thanks to you for your beautiful ministry. We live in the country and can’t attend church, but your Sabbath programs minis-ter to my family. I am so thankful and pray for everyone, always. Thank you so much!”

And speaking of the Sabbath, here’s an email from Anna, who had an interesting experience recently. “I was in a salon when a client came in talking about the Sabbath,” she says. “She was talking to everyone who would listen, including my staunchly Pentecostal hairdresser. My hair-dresser referred her to me, a Seventh-day Adventist, and I found out that although she had no church affiliation, she had seen a 3ABN Sabbath presentation on YouTube, embraced it, and was now sharing this new-found truth with anyone who would listen. By the time I left, my hairdresser wanted to learn more about the Sabbath, and although I never saw that woman again, I am following up with my hairdresser’s interest. In my country of Grenada, West Indies, many have been quietly listening to 3ABN in their homes, and asking for baptism. Others have been sending their

tithes and offerings to the local Seventh-day Adventist churches. So many are hearing the gospel message for the first time. Praise God for 3ABN!”

We also heard from many of you who enjoyed our first-ever Virtual 3ABN Home-coming camp meeting.

Jenny emailed us from Minnesota, saying, “My family and I truly enjoyed the Virtual Fall Camp Meeting. It was such a

blessing to us! All the sermons were perti-nent, and Danny Shelton gave an excellent sermon on seldom-addressed topics. We need a ministry like 3ABN that preaches truth about these Last Days we are in. May our Lord and Savior continue to bless you with your special gifts that you share.”

Hannah from Decatur, Indiana, emailed us, saying, “It was so inspiring to hear the good news from the Word of God at the Virtual Fall Camp Meeting. The powerful rendition of ‘Sinner Saved by Grace’ with Tim Parton and Ryan Day was so amazing! I want to thank Shelley Quinn, Greg and Jill Morikone, Danny Shelton, and all the staff that were a part of camp meeting. I hope we can do it again!”

A s we look forward to starting a fresh year, many of us like to give away things we no longer use—especially if those items can help someone else. And while we encourage

you to give things to those who need them through your local donation center, maybe you'd like to turn some of them into funds for the Lord’s work.

Your Gifts Make a Difference3ABN has always depended entirely on the Holy Spirit to move upon the hearts of those

who support us with their prayers and faithful giving. And one of the special ways you support us is by sending items to our Donation Center that are turned into money. Then 100 percent of it goes into the preaching of the gospel!

Over the years, faithful viewers and listeners have contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars through gifts of gold and silver items, coins, diamonds, gold watches, and real jewelry. Some have even donated vehicles and RVs—along with many other items for which 3ABN provides a tax-deduction receipt once they are sold.

to you about it. But please call us before you ship anything, since not all items are easily sold and we want to spare you the cost of sending something we can't use.

1. Pour cranberry juice and frozen cranberries into a blender, then pulse to desired consistency. Pour mixture into a pitcher and stir in other juices.

2. Pour into glasses filled with ice, then garnish with orange slices, whipped topping, and pome-granate seeds.
