BREIF MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

I) GENERAL MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF DISPERSE DYESTUFF

Disperse Dyestuff intermediate aromatic amine is diazotized using hydrochloric acid and sodium

nitrite in aqueous medium in some cases using sulfuric acid in presence of dry sodium nitrite

and coupled with coupling components like N ethyl 4 methyl 3 cyano 6 bhydroxy 2 pyridone,

1,4 dimethyl 3 cyano 6 hydroxy 3 pyridone(MP), 3 n ndiacetoxy ethyl 4 methoxy acetanilide

(M5), 3 n n diethyl amino acetanilide (M3A), n cyano ethyl n acetoxy ethyl aniluine (M7), n

cyano ethyl n ethyl aniline (M8) etc. using caustic soda/Soda Ash for adjustment of reaction pH

conditions. Generally these reactions are carried out at 0 - 10 oC. Dyestuffs thus obtained are

then filtered through filter press to remove water. The press cake thus obtained is then mixed

with dispersing agent like dadamol, inks & liq. Dispersing agent 045(dispersing agent ss)in

Kinetic dispersion mill to make smooth thick slurry which is then transferred to sand mill for

further particle size reduction. When desired particle size is achieved it is transferred to spray

drying. The dried powder is then transferred to blender for standerdisation then it is packed &

transferred to godown.

II) GENERAL METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MISCELINEOUS DISPERSE DYES

In SS reactor 2 4 DNCB is condensed with para amino phenol to give disperse yellow AL. In SS

reactor terephthaldehyde, hippuric acid, acetic anhydride are reacted at reflux temp. To give

yellow FFL (yellow 124).

4 chloro,3 nitro benzene sulfonyl chloride is reacted with aniline & ethylamine to give yellow

42Dyestuffs thus obtained are then filtered through filter press to remove water . The press cake

thus obtained is then mixed with dispersing agent like dadamoL, inks & liq. Dispersing agent

045(DISPERSING AGENT S7S)in Kinetic dispersion mill to make smooth thick slurry which is

then transferred to sand mill for further particle size reduction. When desired particle size is

achieved it is transferred to spray drying. The dried powdered is then transferred to blender for

standardization then it is packed & transferred to godown.

IV) GENERAL METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AZO PIGMENTS The proposed products are “Organic pigments”. These are characterized for their

physicochemical properties.

Aromatic amines are diazo & tiezed with help of hydrochloric acid, sodium nitrite, phenols and

Nepthols are dissolved in soda ash or Caustic lye solution. These solutions are known as a

coupling solution, the diazo solution is mixed with coupling solution at 0 to 20 0C and azo

pigment is formed. The general chemical structure is given as under.

EFFLUENT TREATMENT PROCESS:

M/s. Shree Colosperse Pvt. Ltd. has an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) comprising of Primary

Tertiary treatment.

Washing effluent from reaction vessels cleaning, press cleaning, spray drier cleaning and from

bathing comes to Oil and Grit separator and then into equalization tank. Equalization’s tanks

Then pH is adjusted to 6.5 -7.5 with caustic lye. This solution is passed through filter press to

remove any suspended particle. The clarified effluent is sent to Enviro Technology Limited

(ETL), Ankleshwar for further treatment through tankers.

The sludge from the setting tanks is filtered through filter press the sludge obtained after

unloading filter press is dried in sludge drying bed and sent to TSDF site of M/s. Bharuch Enviro

Infrastructure Ltd. (BEIL), Ankleshwar for disposal.
