Mid-Conference Tours TRIP I

Boat trip to Todos Santos Bay!

We will visit shellfish growing areas with the opportunity to

navigate around tuna ranches and striped bass farming areas

near Todos Santos Islands.

The tour will last approximately 5 hours starting at 7 am.

Meeting point is at gate No. 2 of the boardwalk*

Recommendations:

Wear comfortable clothes, a cap and a sweater or jacket.

Bring water and a lunch.

Trip free of charge, limited to 30 persons “first come first

served”

*Detailed information will be provided at the begging of

the conference.

Baja California produces nearly 70% of Mexico’s wine, and

there are over 100 wineries along the Ruta del Vino (wine

route) in Valle de Guadalupe. This valley has a

Mediterranean microclimate that create ideal conditions

for growing red wine grapes

The trip route consists of a visit to two wine houses

(probably three depending on the time):

- Vinícola Pedro Domeq: Tour of the museum and cava,

tasting of 4 wines and 4 tapas

- Vinícola Monte Xanic: Tour of the cellar with

explanation of the production, tasting of three wines with

cheese board and bread.

The tour has a cost of 45 USD. The price includes

transportation. The meeting point is at the HOLIDAY INN

Hotel. The tour starts at 12:00 a.m. It is recommended to

bring water and a snack and have breakfast beforehand.

Visit of the seven Craft beer houses

(5 only)

An important Roman Catholic tradition in Mexico is the

visit seven churches during the holy week celebration. For

beer lovers we emulated this tradition trough the visit of

seven beer hoses in Ensenada (actually we will do only 5).

Ensenada has become a beer destination. There are several

craft beer breweries, each offering a unique setting and

flavor profile. We will visit five of the most important

breweries in town.

The tour has a cost of 30 USD and includes a beer (style to

choose) at each house, transportation and snacks in one of the

brewery. Meeting point is the HOLIDAY INN Hotel. The tour
