EVERGREEN CHOIR The Evergreen Choir presented its end of season concert, Something to Sing About, on Saturday afternoon, May 25, before a sold-out house of enthusiastic choir supporters. Under the direction of Dan W. Lenz and accompanied on the piano by Hadara Jacoby, the choir sang 12 songs. The program also included four solos and two duets sung by choir members and a rousing sing-a-long of well-known songs sung by the audience and choir. It was a great afternoon. We would like to thank the staff and the many volunteers who offered us their assistance in making the afternoon such a successful and pleasant event. At the end of the concert, flowers were presented to Enid Maize, the member who founded the choir and gave it its name in 2006. On behalf of us all, thank you Enid.

THE SILVER STARS “Let Him Sleep ‘Til It’s Time For His Funeral”

Don’t let the title fool you – it is a comedy and there is no funeral.

John is anxious about turning 60 and having done nothing with his life.

His loving wife, Marianne, decides to show him that he’s wrong by hosting a surprise funeral instead of a birthday party. Sounds strange, but her intentions are good – she wants him to know how much

he is loved. It’s to be a fantastic surprise party for friends, relatives, and most of all, John.

But, of course …………. there is a mishap.

So come and see Paul, Gerri, Zara, Mike, Denise, and John act out their roles

in the play and find out what happens!!

Buy your tickets at the Reception Desk.

$5:00 each includes refreshments

Saturday, June 22 @ 2:00 pm.

Sunday, June 23 @ 2:00 pm.
