4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. Emissions Reduction Technology Forum! “The EPA is using available tools in the Leak Detection and Repair work practice to reduce and prevent leaks, specifically fugitive emissions. Federal regulators are now using Enhanced LDAR Programs (ELP) in Consent Decrees to require equipment upgrades to low-leak technology which will lead to a reduction in fugitive emissions. How can facilities comply and achieve ever lower emissions levels?

At previous ISA LDAR events, Kosta Loukeris helped launch a new forum for exchanging information about technologies specifically intended to reduce VOC emissions. We’d like to bring together veterans from both sides of the table, industry and government, for an informative examination of two low-leak technologies for valves.

This session will feature a technology discussion followed by questions from an Expert Panel.

ISA will invite sealing professionals to present their solutions for preventing leaks and have them explain how they do it. The panel will then dig deeper by having end-users and the EPA question them about feasibility of implementation, testing results, emissions performance, costs, and other concerns. 4:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closing Comments
