The Principal’s Report
Standing on the bus stop each morning to greet students arriving, and meeting with parents in
the car park each afternoon, are key ways in which I and the school’s senior staff can engage
with our community on matters of strategy, concern and celebration. It is my habit to travel
around the various home towns of many of our students, ensuring that we capture parent voice
from as many people as possible. These are informative and warming visits that do much to
ensure that our direction is understood, and endorsed, by our families. They are affirming visits
as we are reminded of the alignment in values that we all share.
It is a privilege to be a part of such a vibrant community. We achieved outstanding VCE results
for so many of our students, including the best ATAR in the district again. We had tremendous
results in our sporting pursuits here and in Melbourne. We enjoyed the further development of
our cultural programs, culminating in various dramatic performances and music concerts.
Our teachers have provided a plethora of opportunities for our students across many areas.
Their work has been supported by the school’s Executive team. I am grateful for the work that
they did to support their students and staff.
