Haiku
A bird leaves its nest A bird learns to fly Spreading your wings
Laughing brings happiness Laughing is human Normality
The red wheelbarrow poem
So much depends upon a strong bedIt catches me when I fallBeside my wall
So much Depends upon an ancient clothesline It squeaks as it dry's the clothes Beside my toes
Ekphrastic
The salty wind crushes against the flattened clocks, the abandoned island comes to an end, while there is still the remain of the strong, long ocean and the cool breeze flows among the fresh sea air.
Struck by a moment
The car screeches, she is mesmerised by the stench of the burnt rubber tires. They slowly drive off as if it was an accident, her face appears with disappointment and shock as she remembered it was supposed to be a lovely day.
Metaphor
Happiness lights everybody's faces and brings the sunshine into our world, Happiness the Joy of life.
Personification
The stars danced around the moon in the
midnight gloom, they shined and glimmered,
as the moon shimmered
