JOB RESPONSIBILITY Responsible for new press tool, jigs, fixtures, Inspection Gauges manufacturing, & existing die

modifications. Planning co- coordinating, follow up of all Tool Room Activities, like Tool Design, Tool

Manufacturing., Machine loading Plan, Improvements etc.  Organize new press tool, jigs, fixtures and Inspection Gauges, tryout for preparation and

submission finalizing manufacturing processes.  Reduction in the cost by improvement in tooling and process. Problem solution for the Dies, Tools at in-house also at the vendor end. Co-ordination with outside agencies for material procurement activities and other tooling related

activities. Knowledge of Welding Techniques (MIG, SPOT, and ARC ) Weekly updating the new Tools Development and Modification Schedules and reporting the

progress of Tools and dies. Conducting Training & Development for the Design and Tool Room staff to ensure quality and

standard production Ensuring that Shop floor according 5’S. Generating and implementing Kaizen ideas for reducing tool change time & setup time To follow kiezen, Kanban production system, just in time.

Monitoring tool inventory and analyzing & implementing actions for tool inventory cost reduction as per Reorder level

Plan and ensure preventive maintenance of equipment, machineries, and support systems as scheduled.

Maintain all dept. records and documents in order. Preparing management information reports to ensure progress in the department. Evaluation of Production capacity and balancing of shop floor.
