“ I’ve been teaching in a variety of forums during the past
10 years and consider myself an IP team member. Yet I
didn’t know until now what I’ve been missing. I’m filling
my toolbox with IPE planning, teaching and learning
concepts. Phenomenal course! Should be required for all
healthcare faculty. –T3 Participant Evaluation ”

UVA’s Center for ASPIRE is one of 3 national sites chosen for the Train-
the-Trainer Interprofessional Team Development program (T3). ASPIRE
hosts T3 twice each year, in April and November. This nationally-
recognized program was developed for clinicians and health educators;
CE/CME credit given. T3 combines evidence-based theory, hands-on
activities, and personalized team mentoring by IP experts.
Participants attend the 3.5 day training in IP teams of three or more.
As part of the conference, teams develop their own unique IP project,
and have opportunities for constructive feedback from facilitators and
other IP teams. Team support and networking continues beyond the
conference via coaching calls and webinars. For more information,
