our congregation because we

love to experience God’s grace!

We are a warm and friendly

family who exist to exalt Jesus

Christ, evangelize the lost, and

edify believers. We have lots of

interesting and enriching things

to do and offer as a church. But

our priorities are to worship the

Lord Jesus Christ, to fellowship

with other believers, to grow to

be more like Jesus, to do

ministry, and to share the Good

News with those around us. I

encourage you to become a part

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH

First you must present yourself for member-ship during a worship service. Our Pastor will be at the front during the invitation to help you with your decision then you will encour-aged to attend a membership 101 class. Secondly you must express your desire for membership through one of the following ways: 1. Profession of faith: If you have never made a public decision acknowledging that you have or are receiving Christ as your Savior, you will be given that opportunity. After you have made a public profession of faith, your baptism will be scheduled. 2) By statement of faith: If you have previ-ously made a public decision acknowledging that you have received Christ as your Savior, we will be happy to receive you. It will howev-er be necessary for you to be baptized at Grace if you have never been baptized by immersion or if you were baptized in a church which holds a different view of salvation, bap-tism or eternal security than Grace. 3) By letter: If you are currently a member of another Southern Baptist Church, we will contact that church to notify them of your decision to join Grace.

Membership Class— If you recently joined Grace or you’re thinking about joining, we recommend you attend our membership 101 class. The next class will meet on January 5 at 9:15 am in the church office suite.

Sunday Night Growth Groups will begin January 5 and continue until the end of March. The classes meet from 6:00 to 7:30 each week. You can begin to sign up today with the enclosed insert or tear off.

Mission Trip Fundraisers—Laura Hamby is selling Pampered Chef products and donating the money towards upcoming Mission trips. To purchase products go to www.pamperedchef. biz/laurahamby or give Laura a call at 455-6875 or 581-5079. Clay Pogue is also selling Krispy Kreme coupon books for missions. The books are $12 and have 10 coupons for buy one dozen get one dozen free. The coupons have no expiration date.

Youth Project January 31 & February 1 - Youth choirs from around the state come

together to sing each year. This year we will be going to FBC Dandridge. The cost is $40 per singer. All Student Choir members are encouraged to attend. Please register by December 29.

Trail Life - Grace Baptist will be voting on January 15 to be the chartering organization for the new Trail Life USA (TLUSA) program for kids ages K-12 grade starting in 2014. TLUSA’s vision is to be the premier national character development organization for young men which produces Godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. This will be a new self-funded ministry for Grace and our mission is simple and clear: to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others and experience outdoor adventure. We are now interviewing volunteer leaders to help with this awesome undertaking. Lottie Moon Post Office -This year we are again providing an “in house” Post Office as a way for you to mail your Christmas cards to fellow church members. Instead of mailing them at the Post Office just put your cards in the mail box and place the money for postage in the container. This is a great way to support our international missionaries. Don’t forget to check to see if you have mail.
