Acceleration Program• 7th and 8th grade coursework
completed in grade 7
• HS curriculum begins in grade 8
• Two Acceleration Options:
• Full Acceleration – Math, Science, English, Social Studies
• Partial Acceleration – Math & Science
Criteria for Placement• Top 30% of Language Arts & Math 2nd
Marking Period Exams (Quarterlies)
• 90 in each of the core subjects for Quarters 1 & 2
• Writing Samples
• Strong Teacher Recommendation
• Maintaining high averages in MP 3 & 4
