OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE

The objective is to introduce teachers to conceptualizing and performing digital and social media improving learning and teaching methodologies in their classrooms. This course is designed to help teachers and educators understand how to incorporate very popular tech trends – social media, blogging, web-based tools – into the classroom. The overall objective is to modernize and innovate school staff methodology in order to make schools more attractive for students.
DIGITAL SKILLS TO ACQUIRE
• New ways to teach through social media and web tools
• Brainstorming and debate on how ITC competences in education bring benefits
• Web project ideas and blog creation
• Collaborative and interactive classrooms for the students using ITC and social media tools
• A more attractive environment for students to learn by using the digital devices and ITC tools

COURSE RESULTS

This secondary school has an important role in Rome in the development and work of the European Projects as KA1 and KA2. The teachers from this course were received by the Principal and the EU project team who showed us the school and the way they work these projects with its European partners.

TAG - TALENT GARDEN SPACE
Associazione Euphoria organizes its courses in TAG Talent Garden, a space for digital collaborative coworking. The course took place here.

CULTURAL VISIT TO ROME

The course included a tour guided visit to Rome including The Vatican, The Trastevere, Piazza Navona and a taste of the typical Italian food at Campo di Fiori.
