Why is it important? As businesses and churches reopen, we are beginning the summer season. It is during these months that we depend the most on online giving to continue our ministry. We prayerfully invite you to use E-Giving through Faith Direct to set up a recurring donation or make a one time gift. To securely make a gift to St. Anastasia Church simply text a dollar amount to 772-266-5705. You will be asked to complete a one-time registration page with your billing and contact information. After this registration, you can give any time by texting a dollar amount to our phone number without having to re-enter your information.

Are you currently enrolled in Faith Direct? For those currently enrolled in Faith Direct who would like to make an additional contribution simply text a dollar amount to 772-266-5705 and sign in to your account. All donations will be applied to your Parish Family account and are tax deductible.

Would you like to enroll in reoccurring gifts through Faith Direct? Make giving easier and bless your church! Simply text “ENROLL” to 772-266-5705 and follow the link to sign up for recurring giving to St. Anastasia Church. No more dealing with envelopes or writing checks and a consistent money flow helping to further the ministry of our church.

What are the benefits of E-Giving? It saves our parish time and is cost effective. It offers convenience for our parishioners and visitors local and out of state as well as consistency to help support our ministries and participate in the mission and vision of our parish. It is a great way to support our events, capital campaign, bible studies, for memorial donations for loved one and any other way you would like to show your appreciation. It is a way to express gratitude and beautiful way to say thank you.

We Now Offer Online Registration

Have you been at our parish for a while but have not officially registered?

Have you moved, changed your email or phone number, had a new baby or have a change

Prayer for Protection in the Face of the Coronavirus Pandemic

Loving and gracious God, as in all times, we turn to You and implore Your protection and healing as we face a new threat to our health and peaceful well-being in the coronavirus pandemic before us. Help us to be united with each other and with all of our brothers and sisters around the world affected by this illness. We pray for all those in the medical field who are assisting patients and in the field of science who are discerning a cure, as well as for all government leaders. Remember those who, through this virus, have passed from this life as well as their families in their loss. At this time of fragile uncertainty, we also humbly implore You to grant us prudence, hope, courage and patience. Dispel from us fear, panic and distrust which disrupt us in spirit to the detriment of our well-being. We make our prayer in the name of your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who always cured those who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. Our Lady, Patroness of our Diocese, Queen of the Apostles and Comforter of the Afflicted, pray for us, Amen.

The Parish Office will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the Fourth of July.

The office will reopen on Monday, July 6th at 8:00am.

Celebrating Fr. Daniel’s time at St. Anastasia and his new position as Vocation Director & Director of Seminarians

The community of St. Anastasia, San Juan Diego and John Carroll High School are grateful to the Lord, for the gift of watching you (Fr. Daniel) mature over the years as a young seminarian, being ordained as a deacon and then as a Priest of Jesus Christ. Our community was doubly blessed when Bishop Barbarito appointed you as Parochial Vicar here at St. Anastasia Parish (your first assignment). Which not only gave you access into our community, but allowed you to slowly and humbly enter into our hearts, homes and family. This growing communal relationship also, gave us access to your heart, so we could witness your love for the Lord. It is your love for Christ, that encourages us to continue to fall in love with the One True God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Fr. Daniel, we are grateful for your work and guidance with our youth and young adults, our seniors and shut-ins, the beautiful liturgies and chant, and your excitement to share the riches and treasures of the deposit of faith found within Mother Church. Yes, we have threatened to petition the Bishop to keep you at St. A’s for one or two more years, but that would only prolong the inevitable pain and disappointment of having to say goodbye. Just the thought of petitioning, should tell you how much we love you and are grateful for your “yes” to following Christ as His priest.

We will not say goodbye, but rather congratulations!! Congratulations on your second assignment as the New Vocation Director and Director of Seminarians for the Diocese of Palm Beach. Also, Thank you for your time, talent and treasure you so generously and unconditionally gave in service to everyone you ministered to, within our parish. Yes, we will miss you, but we also know we have not lost you. You are still a priest for the Diocese of Palm Beach, ordained to serve not just one parish but a whole diocese. We are proud of you, love you and we will miss you; but know, we will always pray for you.

We are looking forward to your many return visits official and unofficial to St. A’s for vocation talks, visiting our schools and to fill in for the pastor while he is on vacation (hehehe). We all thank you for what you have done while at St. Anastasia Parish. We look ahead with you to say, thank you for all you will do to encourage and promote holy men to follow the Lord as priests and warriors for the King. Congratulations and thank you again for serving Christ in each one of us, while showing us Christ, who is always in our midst.

Fr. Richard E. George II, Pastor

Please join us as to thank and wish Fr. Daniel farewell this Sunday, June 28th, in the Parish Center for food and refreshments, following the 9:30 am Mass.

Welcome Our New Parochial Vicar Fr. Michael Cairnes

Please join me in welcoming our New Parochial Vicar Fr. Michael Cairnes. He comes to us by way of Holy Family in Port St. Lucie. He is a native of West Palm Beach Florida. Fr. Mike is the second oldest of four siblings. His parents are Jan and Ed Cairnes. He graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in 2004, attended the University of Central Florida for one year before entering St. John Vianney College Seminary. After his minor seminary work, he went to St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary and was ordained a priest forever onMay 4, 2013. When asked why he became a priest he says, "I was bowled over by the love of Jesus." He will go on to say, "he is a Christian by the grace of God in recognition that without Christ everything dies."

Fr. Mike will begin his official assignment at St. Anastasia on July 1, 2020. I knew Fr. Mike while he was a young teenager at Cardinal Newman High School, when I was teaching there from 1997-2004. Fr. Mike is a gifted priest, preacher, inspiring and comfortable with all age groups and cultures. Let us continue to pray for him as we thank the Lord for the generous gifts and blessings He tirelessly bestows upon our faith filled parish community of St. A's. Welcome aboard Fr. Mike to the best parish in the Diocese of Palm Beach.

Please join us in welcoming Fr. Mike on the weekend of July 4th and 5th at all Masses and for cake and refreshments, on Sunday, July 5th following the 9:30 am Mass in the Parish Center.

community as we plan and execute needed improvements and updates for future sustainability

for the next generation of St. A's families.

Capital Campaign Prayer

Heavenly Father, We know that you have planned for us more than we can ask, or even imagine. Quiet

our fears and help us with any concerns we may have about this campaign, that we may know and experience the abundant life that our Savior Jesus

Christ calls us to. Be with us as we make the commitments of sacrifice and effort which will lead us into paths you have placed before us to walk.

Continue to fill our St. Anastasia community, parishioners, friends and visitors with cheerful hearts

as we respond to the opportunity you have set before us. May our Joint Campaign provide the best

parish ministries and school opportunities to our families,’ children, seniors, the poor and all those

associated with our faith community.

Jesus, as we believe in the Power of your Holy Name, may we receive your most abundant blessings and grace. Mary, Queen of Apostles,

pray for our parish family. Amen.

Priorities In today’s Gospel reading Jesus says that if we love anyone more that we love Him we are not worthy of Him. What He means is that we need to keep God first in our lives. The two

great commandments He gave us are ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and strength’ and Love your neighbor as yourself.’

How can we keep God first in our lives? We can start by talking to Him as soon as we start our day. We can tell Him we love Him and offer our day to Him! We also keep God first by

following His laws - making sure we go to Mass at least every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation, and going to Confession when we have a serious sin.

The next most important thing is loving others. God wants us to love others. God wants

us to love and care for people He has put into our lives. First we must care for our family that He has given us and then our friends and neighbors.

What is the most important thing for you to do today? How can you put

God first every day this week.
