About Kaohsiung Second largest city in Taiwan (population:1.5 m) The harbor is at the south-western coast of

Taiwan. It is the sixth largest port in the world Kaohsiung Metro Rapid Transit to be completed

in 2008 90 min away from Taipei by High-Speed Rail Scenic attractions: museums, cultural centers,

beaches, lakes, the Love River, shopping. The hotel selected is 20 min away from the

Kaohsiung International Airport; 10 min from the Kaohsiung Train Station by car.

international airport to the venue or fellows' hotel:

Take the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit (KRT) from the airport to the Central Park station. USD 1

Take a taxi from the Central Park station to the venue or hotel, at the starting price of the meter, about USD 3

Or by walking about 15-20 minutes from the Central Park station to the hotel.
