Introduction
The Nurse Deployment Project 2014 (NDP) of the Department of Health (DOH) has opened itsapplications starting November 4 for interested nurse applicants. Updates about the application,selection and recruitment process and schedules will be posted here.
Note: Not all regions were able to send in their guidelines for the project thus most regions haveblanked out or limited details. We are trying our best to provide as much complete info as possible. Ifyou have any info or sources, please tip us via the comments section below.

The Nurse Deployment Project (2014) is a successor of the RNheals program that aims to giveemployment opportunities to the growing number of unemployed nurses in the country. The projectintends to improve the local health systems and support the Philippine’s attainment of Universal HealthCare. Nurses employed in the project will be given a salary of Php 18,594 monthly and benefits of aregular DOH employee.
Qualifications
Official and validated license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).Willing to undergo recruitment and selection process of the CHDs.Physically and mentally fit. A medical certificate is required.

Cordillera Administrative RegionThe CAR is composed of Abra, Apayao, Baguio, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province.
Region 1: Ilocos RegionThe Ilocos region covers La Union, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Pangasinan. Interested applicants cannow submit their applications on Region 1 CHDs.

Region 7: Central VisayasRegion 7 covers the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental and Siquijor. Nurses will be deployed inidentified 964 areas in Region 7. Application process is now ongoing. The DOH will deploy the followingnumber of nurses in Region 7: 387 for Cebu, 329 nurses for Bohol, 214 for Negros Oriental and 34 inSiquijor.
