ABOUT THE TEAMApplied Intellect, the Protégé, is an 8(a) firm that provides program management, information technology, and environmental services. Applied Intellect specializes in abandoned mine land studies, federal military support, site remediation, hydrogeologic and water resource studies, natural resource studies, permitting, and environmental compliance. Applied Intellect’s team of professionals have extensive experience servicing a variety of Department of Defense and Federal Land Management agencies from Hawaii and Japan in the Pacific, to South Carolina and Puerto Rico on the Atlantic. The company’s Federal work scope includes the development of Uniform Federal Policy-Quality Assurance Project Plans (UFP-QAPPs) and complex Conceptual Site Models (CSM), as well as

site investigations, long-term monitoring, and land use control management. Applied Intellect is an ISO 9000:2015 certified company that is assessed at CMMI Maturity Level III. Applied Intellect’s experience and expertise includes managing the life-cycle of data and information associated with environmental projects using custom programmed IT solutions to facilitate planning, assessments and decision-making.

As the partnership Mentor, Trihydro will use its 33 years of experience of successfully implementing environmental and engineering solutions to support Applied Intellect in developing their technical and business capabilities under a variety of NAICS including 541330, 541620, and 562910. Trihydro is a small business and HUBZone-certified company under our primary NAICS, 562910. With more than 420 employees and 20 offices across the country, Trihydro is the largest HUBZone firm in the country and has experience completing large, complex projects in various markets.
