28th ODAI FESTIVAL

Odai Matsuri is a spring festival in Higashiura Town. It starts with the Odai Parade, exhibition of products, stage event and many more. There are lots of exciting event waiting for you.

■WHEN: APRIL 17,2021（SATURDAY） ※Will be postponed in case of rain and only the Odai Parade will be implemented in AEON

Mall Higashiura. ■PLACE: Odai Park , Odai road （Along the river side of Miyoutokujigawa, boundary of

Ogawa and Ishihama.）etc. ※On the day, in case that you will come by car, please use the parking area of the Higashiura Town

Office or Higashiura Chugakko school ground. ●ODAI PARADE: 9:45 am Sakura Bridge（in front of the Central Library）Departure :

（about an hour） The Odai princess and warlord wearing armors will march at the parade.

●EXHIBITION OF PRODUCTS: From 9:30 am until 3:00 pm inside the Odai Park. ※Because of COVID-19, there are only few stores are open. ●STAGE EVENT: From 9:40 am until 3:00 pm at Odai Park stage. ●The Nagashino,Shitaragahara Teppoutai and Hinawajyuu demonstration will start

around 12:00 at Odai Park. You can watch the Hinawajyuu（old pistol）shooting

JAPANESE LEARNING WEBSITE ARE NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

This [TSUNAGARU HIROGARU NIHONGO DE NO KURASHI] is a website where you can learn Japanese language thru different scene in daily living such as “greetings in your working place”, “when taking a train”, “when going to the hospital” and so on. You can watch it by the computer, tablet, smart phone etc.

You can learn here by watching videos and can adjust the level of your Japanese. With assistance in English, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish and Vietnam languages.

Starting this year, the Japanese Learning Class [NICHIYOUBI NIHONGO HIROBA] will be open. Now, person with difficulties in joining the Saturday class can join and learn the Japanese language together with the volunteers. Would you like to study?

In [NICHIYOUBI NIHONGO HIROBA] ,application in advance is necessary. Person who would like to join, please send a mail at the inquiry with a headline of [NICHIYOUBI NIHONGO HIROBA], in the letter body please write your name and mail address. Possible in Japanese language or any other languages.
