News from The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

"Like St. Vincent, you, too, will find the poor will do more for you than you will do for them."

Thank you! to all who participated in this year’s “Sayreville’s Bravest vs. Finest” Charity Basketball Game. It was a fun night for all involved, and more than $700.00 was raised for our St. Vincent dePaul Conference, helping us to continue to help those who come to us for assistance. Whether you played in the game, worked at the event in some capacity, or sat on the sidelines and cheered – your participation and support is a true blessing for those who need us. Thank you so much! FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: We are truly in need of the following items to help stock the shelves in our food pantry: macaroni & cheese, tuna fish, canned meats, canned pasta (spaghetti-o’s, ravioli’, etc.), and peanut butter and jelly. At this time we are well-stocked with canned vegetables, and many types of pasta, and we are blessed to have lots and lots of beans, but all donations are welcome. All non-perishable food pantry donations, can be left in the baskets at all Church entrances. Thank you, as always for your generosity!
