BUCS 1st Team to stay in Premier League!

After a difficult start to the season, it is fantastic news that our BUCS 1st team have been successful following their first year in BUCS Premier League and are staying in the League. The league is incredibly competitive as it includes Loughborough 1sts, Manchester 1sts and Northumbria 1sts, all very large Universities that have large numbers of talented players to pull from. UWNetball 1st team have done exception-ally well to compete at this level.

UWNetball hosted a C Award Umpire course, which external candidates as well as 2 x University of Worcester students attended.

UWNetball 3rd team finished their second undefeated league season and have gained promotion for the second season running! A massive achievement by the players, congratulations all.

Two UWNetballers made the short squad for Severn Stars; Rebecca Tildesley and Iona Darroch. Both students have taken to the court and made their super league debuts. Iona Darroch is making her mark and has received player of the match on three occasions!
