• Arcelor = Arbed (Luxembourg) + Aceralia (Spain) + Usinor (France).

• The three European groups were determined to mobilize their technical, industrial, and commercial resources in order to create a global leader in the steel industry.

Mergers and Acquisition• Sister concerns LNM Holdings and ISPAT

International formed Mittal Steel in 2004.
