1.0 INTRODUCTION

This document will show you, how to setup the ARIS Education Package

Process Intelligence and Performance Management V1.1.

2.0 REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Hardware

CPU: Dual Core

RAM: 6GB

Disc Space: 30GB

2.2 Software

7zip

VMware Player 4

Windows 7 x86 MSDAA license

3.0 UNZIP THE VIRTUAL MACHINE

1. Download all five parts from the package.

2. Put them in one folder.

3. Extract the package

4.0 OPEN THE VIRTUAL MACHINE IN VMWARE PLAYER

1. Start the VMware Player

2. Click on Open a Virtual Machine.

3. Navigate to the unzipped machine.

4. Choose the AEP-PPM.vmx

5.0 START THE VIRTUAL MACHINE

1. Press on Play the virtual machine.

2. Press on the I copied it button

3. Login as Administrator, use manager as password.

4. Click on Activate now.

5. Click on Retype your product key.

6. Enter your MSDAA Windows 7 x86 key and Press Next.

7. Fallow the Software AG PPM Licensing Setup

6.0 ARIS MASHZONE LICENSING

1. Open ARIS MashZone

2. A pop-up window will open, which are telling you that you have to check the license. Click on the

Go to Administration button.

3. Switch to the Server Settings Tab and Click on the Add new license key button.

4. Enter your MashZone license in the pop-up and confirm with the Add button

After this step you have finished the installation.
