Quick snapshot of who, what and where we are.

move on to discuss our dual mission, both state and federal, with specific examples of our Soldiers and Airmen supporting each.

Once we move into our federal mission supporting overseas operations, well talk about the states Major Commands and their contribution to the Global War on Terror.

Well then discuss the training sites and organizations, here in the state of Arkansas that are used to train our Soldiers and Airmen from all 54 states and territories.

We will wrap us with discuss on a few programs that we are very proud to operate here in the state, prior to opening up for questions. At the beginning of 2005, over 40% of our force was mobilized in support of GWOT

By the first of 2008, nearly 35% of our force will be mobilized. NGB works to ensure not state will have more than 50% of its forces out of state at any one time if at all possible 5,000 here in Arkansas

3,000 mobilized in support of Katrina operations (AUG 2005 FEB 2006)
