Nice to see a vigorous chapter that is doing well. They look to us to serve as a leader for other chapters. This is their first year in leadership and they are looking forward to working with us Wendy’s goal as Region Coordinator is to go back to the basics Provided a PowerPoint update Southern NJ chapter is near going dormant. Our chapter offered assistance to the region for this chapter if needed. By‐Laws Update (Bryn) – submitted final version. Adam Engel (ARMA International) said will get an answer after conference. Vendor issues – make sure that vendors who are presenting use the ARMA Metro NYC standard template. When interacting with a vendor, do so in a respectful way. Board members should not be repeating what transpires at our meetings with outside vendors. Community Service Project Candidate: Greater Astoria Historical Society ‐ Conference call scheduled for Wednesday November 20 at 11 am with Bob Singleton, head of the Society, to discuss their needs. Core team to participate: Anita Castora, Fred Grevin, Gene Stakhov, and Jason Stearns. ARMA International 2013 Awards – Chapter Innovation (Mentorship program – Anita, Committee Chair) and Chapter Newsletter (Jennifer Best) – for the 4 th time in a row. Membership Award (increasing numbers) was also given to our chapter. Congratulations to all, especially – Jen, Anita, Lauren and Fred. Board of Directors Contact Information List – Anita Castora will work with Michael Landau to complete the project.
