AA-3400 12-Lead EKG Trainer

When used by a qualified instructor, this trainer is an excellent toolfor training in Lead Placement for a 12-Lead EKG. The instructorshould ensure that the correctly labeled Magnet Lead is used in itsproper position on the manikin. Can be used in conjunction withyour own 12 Lead Monitor and the optional AA-600 series 12-Lead Simulators.

Instruction For Use:Electrode Placement Training

1. Connect the manikin to the Signal Generator.2. Push the red power button to activate Signal Generator.

Note: The unit turns itself off after 10 minutes of inactivity.3. Place the Magnet Leads in their proper positions on the manikin.

As each Magnet Lead is placed, the instructor should verify that theappropriate light on the signal generator has illuminated. When allten Magnet Leads are in place the “ALL” signal will illuminate.

1. Connect the manikin to the Signal Generator.2. Connect the Signal Generator EKG cable to the

Signal Generator.3. Attach the Signal Generator EKG leads wires to the

optional 12-Lead Simulators (as shown).4. Connect your monitors EKG leads to the correct

snap position on the Signal Generator.5. Turn on the simulator, Signal Generator and monitor.6. Place the Magnet Leads in their proper positions on

the manikin to view rhythms on the monitor.

* The Signal Generator has 10 minute auto shut-off when not in use to preserve battery life.
