ART & DESIGN – FOUNDATION DIPLOMA

Entry requirements - You will usually require a Level 3 qualification in an Art & Design based subject. You may also be accepted subject to the production of a portfolio of work with relevant qualifications. You will require a grade C (4) or above in Maths and English to progress to higher education.

HOW IS THIS COURSE ASSESSED?

This course is assessed through a combination of project work including; practical work, essays, presentations, online learning and exhibitions.

English & MathsIf you haven’t achieved a GCSE Grade 4 (C) in English and/or Maths you will be required to either; take a Functional Skills qualification if you have achieved a Grade 1 or 2, or retake the GCSE if you’ve achieved Grade 3. You will be fully supported by our specialist team ahead of taking the exam.
