Thank you for being a part of The ArtsCenter’s community of artists. It is part of our mission to provide opportunities for artists to show and sell their work, and we are pleased you are taking part. We know you want to make the most of this opportunity to get your art seen and sold! Below are some details that will help us collaborate and maximize this opportunity. How we support your exhibit:

§ Website. Your exhibit is featured on our website, www.ArtsCenterLive.org. § 2nd Friday ArtWalk. We also feature your work in the marketing and

communication for 2nd Friday ArtWalk which includes a printed map and website maps. I will be in the galleries from 6-9pm during the ArtWalk so that the public can enjoy your work.

§ Marquee. We note your name and exhibit title on the marquee just inside our main door.

§ ArtScape. This is our bi-monthly publication, where we advertise our events. Exhibits and a reminder about the 2nd Friday ArtWalk are included.

§ Calendar releases. We send calendar notes to all major media noting your exhibition. These include Independent Weekly, Southern Neighbor, Chapel Hill News, Carrboro Citizen, Herald Sun, and more.

§ Phone bank. Our phone system includes a mention of your display. § Eblasts. We send eblasts to our digital mailing list and include your exhibit in the

monthly newsletter. § Social media. Our marketing team will promote your exhibit through Facebook,

Twitter, and soon Foursquare. What can you do?

§ Email. Be sure to send an announcement to everyone you know and ask them to help spread the word. It’s a good idea to include a few photos.

§ Social media. Facebook and Twitter are great tools. § Mailings. If you have a list, you may want to send key supporters a note listing

your exhibition. § Reception. Host a reception or opening during the ArtWalk, and bring beverages

and treats to attract passersby! Please contact me for help, with questions, or with other advertising ideas. Email me at [email protected]. Laura Ritchie Gallery Coordinator
