This is a great opportunity to learn about stage lighting in a small venue at an entry level, which could lead onto bigger and better things (Full Theatrical shows, BTEC Courses, even Glasto!)

Please come along to the lighting weekend on August 9th and 10th where the journey will begin.

Not in our prime age group? Come along anyway, you may be just the person we need to help us with this new group.

For more details contact Paul Stevens on 210565 or Jane Morton on 210172

Are you interested in stage lighting?

Would you like to join the new junior lighting crew for this years panto?

All Saints Church News Dear Friends,

From August 10th to August 31st for four Sundays we are only having one service in our

group of Churches every week. This is partly because many people are away in

August but we also want to offer the opportunity, with the help of Shapwick School

Mini Buses and our own drivers, for people to see a Church other than the one in their

own Village.

These services will be informal with communion. They will be suitable for all. All of the

services are at 10.30am and the mini buses will pick up from the following points at

the following approximate times. There are two buses, Bus A shown (*) and Bus B

shown ()

10th August Service at Chilton Polden 17th August Services at Burtle

If you need a special pick up spot on the way to these places please contact Trish on

01458 210260 and we will see what we can do. After the Service there will be

tea/coffee and cake and at Shapwick a “bring and share” lunch on the 31st. Please

do come and support this experiment and enjoy the fellowship; it may become an

annual event.

The fact that there are mini-buses does not preclude you driving if you prefer or giving

lifts to others; however should you want to be able to come without that bother and

just enjoy the countryside on your way, then please hop on the bus.

We will look forward to welcoming you!
