Houghton, Augustus Seymour Collection. 62-1. Related materials include those dealing with the preservation of the Everglades and the formation of the Everglades National Park. The collection also includes material related to the conservation of native Florida plants and wildlife.

Spicer-Simson, Theodore. 71-1. Related materials include castings of medals presented to Walter T. Swingle. These are the Frank N. Meyer Medal for Foreign Plant Introduction and the Thomas Barbour Medal from Fairchild Tropical Garden "for vision, unselfinsh devotion to the preservation of that vanishing Eden, South Florida." Both of these are engraved with Swingle's name. There is another medal awarded by Fairchild Tropical Garden in honor of its founder, Robert H. Montgomery, for work in the field of palms and cycads.
