TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMASPE’s Technical Symposium features technical education sessions for those who pay the full registration fee. The sessions are designed to help plumbing industry professionals at all career levels learn new skills or refresh their design repertoire. Each session awards 0.15 CEUs that can be used for license and certification continuing education requirements.

ASPE is recognized as an approved provider and sponsor of CEUs

and PDHs throughout all 50 states for registrations and licensing

requirements. Specifically, ASPE is approved as a Continuing Education

Sponsor in the states of New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Louisiana, North

Carolina, and Florida. It is ultimately your responsibility to make sure that

you are in compliance with your state’s rules and guidelines.

TOUR:Jean R. Marcotte Wastewater Treatment Plant* Saturday, October 21 | 7:30 am or 12:30 pm

Join ASPE for one of two tours of the Jean R. Marcotte wastewater treatment plant. Each tour is three hours long and includes transportation to and from the facility. The tours are limited to 24 people, are ticketed events, cost $15 per person, and are only open to individuals who are signed up for the full 2017 Technical Symposium. 0.3 CEUs will be awarded for participating in a tour. WORKSHOP:Intermediate Plumbing System Design* Saturday, October 21 | 8:45 am – 4:45 pmNew for 2017! During the 2017 Technical Symposium, engineers and designers can participate in this exclusive full-day course, which was created for those who want to learn more details about the systems they currently design. Centered around commercial kitchen design, this course touches on a multitude of systems including domestic hot and cold water, natural gas, sanitary waste and vent, and storm drainage. This ticketed course is available to full 2017 Technical Symposium attendees only and is limited to 20 individuals. You will receive 0.6 CEUs (6 hours) for participating in this course, which is equivalent to what you would earn for participating in four breakout sessions on the same day at the Technical Symposium. Rage Montreal is an indoor axe-throwing range in downtown Montreal. During this private event, AYPs will learn from professional instructors on the art of axe throwing on one of their 11 throwing alleys.
