Seminars and workshops

• Organise info days, workshops and special sessions at other events – Seminars on IAPP and Individual Fellowships and

Grants in April and May 2009 (open to external participants!)

– Check the Irish FP7 Portal (www.fp7.ie) for dates and details

• Can also run tailor-made sessions on demand if there is a critical mass.

Individual assistance

• Customized one-to-one support before and during proposal preparation– Discussion of project ideas (Is IAPP the right

programme for you? What other options exist?)– Advice on eligibility and other technical issues – Pre-submission proposal checks (feedback on draft

proposals, first-come first-served)

• Assistance at negotiation and implementation stage, including– Clarification of questions related to financial procedures

(e.g. eligibility of specific cost items) and reporting

“Direct line” to Commission

• Clarification of specific queries and issues on a case-by-case basis

• Recommendation as expert evaluators– Register as expert through FP7 website on CORDIS

(https://cordis.europa.eu/emmfp7) – Contact your Research Officer or equivalent to be

recommended by IUA

• Feedback to Commission on your experiences (good and bad!) through NCP Network and Programme Committee
